Embryonic Stem Cell Research
Human embryos are human beings. "Respect for the dignity of the human being excludes all experimental manipulation or exploitation of the human embryo" (CRF 4b).
Recent scientific advances show that often medical treatments that researchers hope to develop from experimentation on embryonic stem cells can be developed by using adult stem cells instead. Adult stem cells can be obtained without doing harm to the adults from whom they come. Thus there is no valid medical argument in favor of using embryonic stem cells. And even if there were benefits to be had from such experiments, they would not justify destroying innocent embryonic humans.

Man, this is
sickThe stem cells were derived from babies aborted at about 16 to 18 weeks... The rationale given for using aborted children's bodies in medical research is usually that since the children are going to be killed anyway, some good might as well be had from their remains which would otherwise be discarded.

Just absolutely beyond words what is happening in the so called science labs.
Mengele would be proud.

But let's fast forward a bit with that "logic" and apply some simple economics to it. Any commodity that has a demand will soon have a supply arise to meet it. Be it gasoline, food, shelter, clothing, chemicals, illicit drugs, or what have you. Once you allow the demand to develop, the supply will develop as well.
Do we really want to see a market in aborted fetuses? Because that's where this is going. The frightening part is that a significant portion of the populace appears willing to allow it.

mice with severe spinal cord injuries I don't know why this struck me, but 'mice with severe spinal cord injuries?' Where in the hell did they find mice with severe spinal cord injuries? The next thing you know is some laboratory with a government grant will be conducting experiments on mice with erection deficiency. Where do they find these mice? I really need to know!

For all their degrees and titles, it comes down to crude vulgar mengele vampire medicine masquerading as science.
I would rather live in constant chronic severe pain forever from cervical vertebrae injury than use the their aborted stem cells. And I do live in that pain.
