This group doesn't "look" neocon to me.
He'll never get them now.
I wonder what the success rate at finding 'acting roles' is for someone who supports the admin - check with Ron Silver or Mel Gibson first:)
Wait until the Dixie Chicks hear about this.
I don't know, these are the same guys who wrote "Saturday Night Special," the most anti-gun song I ever heard.

Turn it up.
Sweet Home Alabama!!! (AU'89)
I still like "The Ballad of Curtis Lowe" most of all.
Damn I knew these boys were raised right!
Good on him for speaking out on the side of reality.
At least there is one musician who isn't brain dead.
Rickey Medlocke has spoken out in favor of removing Saddam Hussein from power, and now he's urging people who share his feelings to speak out with him. Medlocke, lead guitarist for Lynyrd Skynyrd and a founding member of Blackfoot, has issued this statement about Hussein.
Well stated! Good man.
Okay, Dems, want to battle the war again?
We can do that. Didn't help you in '02 and '04, but maybe the third time will be the charm in finally knocking sense into your heads.
BTW, don't even think for a moment you are going to get a dime of credit for victory. If you're thinking the Dec vote will be successful, leading to some troops coming home, you may be correct. If you're thinking your strategized calls to capitalize on it as being a result of your pressure will escape unchallenged? You are wrong.
At least FR is consistent when singers/entertainers open their mouths. /sarcasm
No "Shut up and sing" serenades tonight?
Freebird!
July 4th last year Lynard Skynard performed FREE for our troops and families at Kaneohe, HI. They were awesome, and I was there to witness their Patriotism first hand and to see them LIVE PERFORM FREEBIRD!!!!!!hehehe
oops correction, that was THIS year.
Fly, Free Bird!
"'Cause i'm as free as a bird now, yeah..
And this bird you cannot change.."
>B-)
Little anecdote: back in the early-mid-70s, I was in a "southern rock" band called "Rampage." We cut a record, got reviewed by "Billboard" and "Cashbox," (favorably), opened for "Steppenwolf," "Savoy Brown," and the "James Gang" right after Joe Walsh left. Anyway, our leader had an offer from Lynnard Skynnard's management group to take us in as the #2 band behind LS, but for a very high %. Our leader refused (we, unfortunately, agreed). Two months later, Skynnard went down in a plane crash, and the mgt. co. would have had us as their #1 band to promote. Ce la vie!
