Howard Dean's "Can't Do" Spirit
WOAI ^ ^ | 12/5/05 | ez

SAN ANTONIO) -- Saying the "idea that we're going to win the war in Iraq is an idea which is just plain wrong," Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean predicted today that the Democratic Party will come together on a proposal to withdraw National Guard and Reserve troops immediately, and all US forces within two years.

Dean made his comments in an interview on WOAI Radio in San Antonio.

"I've seen this before in my life. This is the same situation we had in Vietnam. Everybody then kept saying, 'just another year, just stay the course, we'll have a victory.' Well, we didn't have a victory, and this policy cost the lives of an additional 25,000 troops because we were too stubborn to recognize what was happening."

The purpose of this thread is to get a quick response out there that will make a great sound bite.

America has always been known for its' "can do" attitude. We were the people who would accept any and all challenges and master them.

Howard Dean now thinks we are not capable of winning the war in Iraq. It is time to hit him hard in the public arena for his "can't do" defeatist attitude.

They're trying to have Vietnam and Watergate all over again in one big happy misinfomation campaign.

I think the American people are smarter than this.

Howard Dean should be roasted from now to eternity for his can't do attitude. Step aside Howard, and let the US Marines show you how to be a man.

Dean is a big-time loser (he lost the Democratic presidential nomination by a scream). Not winning is his religion.

"Everybody then kept saying, 'just another year, just stay the course, we'll have a victory.'"

We never lost a battle in VN and the War was fought with both hands tied behind our backs. That War was lost in the Media fueled by these defeatists.

And they are at the same defeatist tricks they were then. Kerry is already accusing the US of War Crimes against Iraqi civilians and the rest of the Dems and assorted Anarchists are doing their best to undermine this effort. They hope to so cripple the War effort that it will fail, just as they did in Vietnam.

What was happening was the media was lying to the American people and the effort lost public support.

Fight the media!

Howard Brush Dean III, child of privilege, Birkenstock doc, and beneficiary of some $3.8 million in trust funds, equities and financial instruments, is once more leading with his chin. One would think, as much abuse as he suffers at the hands of all those who would lampoon him, he would turn to making RATIONAL statements, but NOOOOO, ol' Ho-Ho just goes on being his maniacal self.

One shouldn't poke fun or sticks at emotionally unstable individuals, really one shouldn't. But everybody seems to be afraid to drag him off the stage. And so the torment goes on.

One man's torment is another man's opportunity.

The Democrats are the anti-American, anti-democracy party.

They somehow managed to get a media blast of their message of despair a couple of months ago, which is a little worrisome, but now they've shot their wad. We're on the rebound.

Saying the "idea that we're going to win the war in Iraq is an idea which is just plain wrong," Democratic National Chairman Howard Dean predicted...

In the battle between the greatest military power in the history of the world (that would be us, Howie) and some fanatical towel-heads who use improvised explosive devices to blow up women, children, and an occasional American, Howie is putting his money on the insurgents. He also likes the Jamaican Bobsled Team in the Winter Olympics.
