Everything Danish is fattening. Nevertheless I stocked up. :)
That's true:-( It's great to buy for friends and neighbors, though. Consider the butter cookies and Carlsberg as Valentines day approaches:-)
I admire this man and his values.
Defecting to New Europe?
I am actually heading to Copenhagen for the weekend. I will buy as much as will fit in the suitcases.
"Turkish Civil Servants step on EU flag" 02/08/06 from SPIEGEL Online...
Europe has an ever bigger problem and it's not the Danes. And, I buy Danish cookies, pastries and a few other things, but I long ago stopped buying anything from France, until and unless France grows a backbone. From the look of things in Europe as to their muslim populations' rioting and stomping on their flags and torching various embassies (Norway's was torched by muslims, or attempted to be), I'd say that Europe has a problem that appeasements and apologies are only going to make worse.
I just bought some Tuborg and Danish blue cheese. Yum.

Praise for Bush, Bolton for Nobel Peace Prize....what's next?
Are we in a parallel universe??
How 'bout a list of Danish products???
"Praises Bush"
Yes he does. But the NYT isn't too thrilled about it.
"But the prime minister gave a pass to criticizing the Bush administration about its slow and cautious defense of an ally"
They just can't seem to get the Danish PM to go along with their obvious 'Bush' bashing!
Apparently, Nestle Corporation is trying to stab Danish people in the back by saying "our products are not produced in Denmark".
So let's cut back on the Nestle's Quik and buy Ovaltine instead. Check the back of chocolate bars.
Go for Cadbury products. Cadbury is a customer of mine.
I'm going to see if I can find a number for the Danish Embassy in D.C. and offer them my support.
Remember as well...
Shell Oil gave Kerry too much money for his campaign. So don't decide while driving that you like the yellow signage and stop at Shell for that reason. The only reason to stop at Shell would be if you're going to run out of gas otherwise. :-)
Bed, Bath & Beyond has a highly left wing ownership and management and employee roster. The same is true of Borders Books and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.
