...and fail all that this nation was founded upon and what has made her what she is, the greatest beacon for liberty (governed by moral constraint), hope, prosperity, peace and tranquilty that mankind has ever produced.

And why? Precisely because this nation was founded upon the Godly principles of fundamental morality as taught by Jesus Christ and as found in the traditional Judaeo-Christian faith...which teaches tolerance, doing good to others, treating others as you would be treated, and spreading those values through reasoned discussion and a winning of the heart and mind.

All of which is what the modern democratic party decries and opposes in principle.
