CNN is pretty good at breaking news. Once they have time to start the spin they go all to (liberal) hell.

I hope they leave out Christiane Amanforsure's cheerleader routine,
"jihad, jihad, har! har! har!
Go Osama, allah akbar!"
The pom poms were the WORST.

The morning that shot Aaron Brown to the anchor chair and own show.
5 years later, it's gone.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is CNN Pipeline and where do I access it?

Odd title on the article. I'm wondering how you stream past events in real time :P

Well, in about 20 minutes, it's a time machine back to 2001 where CNN didn't have working live streaming where they'll show a recording of their live broadcast starting at 8:30am EST on September 11th, 2001. I think I woke up at about 9am EST to get my daughter ready for school (6am my time) so I missed the first half hour.
Now, if only I can figure out how to record this sucker.

Hi Tom, I am running Firefox and it's working. Click on the linked article
http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/09/07/911.pipeline/
and there is a banner across the top that says "watch now". It launches a javascript window. There are FOUR pipes, and the "as-it-happened" replay is running on Pipe 4, you have to click on the viewer advisory. It just started moments ago.
They said it will run for 15-1/2 hours.
Good luck.

Does anyone know how to record the stream? I've got SDP recording Fox on my other computer, but I had hoped to get CNN also.

You could try one of the programs listed on
this page.

I can only get the CNN feed to open in MS Player, which doesn't have recording capabilities. (I am watching the FoxNews stream in MS Player already.)
I can't get any of the CNN links to open in standalone players with record capabilities -- Media Player Classic or KMPlayer.
