First...buy yourself a good dictionary and look up the meaning of the word "condescending".

Next get someone to help you to understand it and how to apply it.

Thirdly, don't make wild assumptions about someone you don't know and most assuredly, don't tell someone on a CONSERVATIVE forum, that they are a far lefty loon.

Some people enjoy having large families; others don't. Some can afford to send multiple children to the best schools and colleges, summer camp, piano or violin or whatever lessons; most can't. Telling others, in stentorian tones, that ALL CHRISTIANS should have at least THREE children is self-righteous, smarmy, and over the line. BTW, what about Jews? We have a lot of very nice FREEPERS who are Jewish.

Lots of people with m any children DO hope that all of their children will get scholarships. There is no other way that they can ever hope to send the children to college. I stated a simple fact......those that pay full price, ARE also paying for other people's kids. And no, endowments and scholarships don't cover all of the costs for scholarship kids.

Okay, so how many children do YOU have? :-)

con·de·scend
Pronunciation: "kän-di-'send
Function: intransitive verb
Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French condescendre,
from Late Latin condescendere, from Latin com- + descendere to descend
1 a : to descend to a less formal or dignified level :

Hmm.
Describes you to a "T".
And, you hijacked the thread.

Really? My niece just finished her BA last year -- worked full-time, went nights and paid for it herself. She'll be starting a Master's program this year.
