Heres how the 2006 mid-term election was stolen.
Note the past tense. And Im not kidding.
And shoot me for saying this, but it wont be stolen by jerking with the touch-screen machines (though theyll do their nasty part). While progressives panic over the viral spread of suspect computer black boxes, the Karl Rove-bots have been tunneling into the vote vaults through entirely different means.
For six years now, our investigations team, at first on assignment for BBC TV and the Guardian, has been digging into the nitty-gritty of the gaming of US elections. Weve found that November 7, 2006 is a day that will live in infamy. Four and a half million votes have been shoplifted. Heres how theyll do it, in three easy steps:
TOPICS: Crime/Corruption; Editorial; Government; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: 2006election; 2muchmarijuana; doper; elections; gregpalast; libwhining; losingrats; moonbats; morethorazineplease; palast; politics; pothead; ratsarelosing

These are votes lost because a punch card didnt punch (its chad got hung), a stray mark voided a paper ballot and other machinery glitches. Except that, under a federal law passed by the very pubbies being attacked here, electronic voting machines are now mandated. So much for this part of the theory.
I guess they'll just replace it with a rant about Diebold. It sure beats factual analysis.

May I suggest you
steal back your vote. Nice huh....your modern democrats in action. All the more reason to utterly defeat and crush these gremlins in every election. True Freepers never stay home on election day or vermin like this will rule over us. NEVER EVER let it happen.

Remember, remember the Rove of November,
The MSM treason and plot
I see no reason why MSM treason
Should ever be forgot.
For MSM and Dems 'twas their vile intent,
To defeat Repubs and impeach a President.
By God's mercy 'tis they who will be defeated
With votes; and not voices heated.
T'won't be Reid for Frist
Nor Pelosi for Hastert
For Rove is the Magnificent Bastard

Lots of leftist BS here. The only people "hurt" by this are illegal aliens and felons who are not eligible to vote anyway. Regarding the "hanging chad" issue, the voter can solve that easily by examining paper and picking off any "hanging chads". It might add 10 seconds of effort. No more than the effort to fully fill the optical ovals with the black pen at my own polling place today.

He misses the good ol' days when Dems would dump entire voting machines from Republican precincts into the river.

The internal polls must be showing a heavy Republican turnout....if the dems were leading.....they wouldn't bother to put up this crap about republicans stealing the vote...

Seems like a combination of projecting and bemoaning the unfairness of the simple abilities our side exhibits (reading English correctly, filling in a circle neatly or punching all the way through a card).

Why wouldn't you want to have a photo ID verify the person is who they say they are?!?!
I think its a fair request for voters to be able to prove who they are... its the only way to keep people from voting several times under different aliases that are registered.
