President Bush Leads Farewell To Rumsfeld
UPDATED: 4:27 am PST December 15, 2006
WHITE HOUSE -- President George W. Bush will be there this afternoon as the Pentagon rolls out a full-honors goodbye ceremony for Donald Rumsfeld.
He's leaving after six stormy years as defense secretary, being replaced Monday by Robert Gates. Bush tapped the former CIA director after last month's elections, saying he wanted to bring "fresh eyes" to the troubled mission in Iraq.
Rumsfeld has been condemned by critics as the architect of a disastrous war of choice. But in a broadcast goodbye to the troops, he defends the conflicts in both Iraq and Afghanistan, calling them "historic chapters in the saga of human freedom."
Rumsfeld also told the nation's service men and women that serving with them has been the "highest honor" of his life.

Ummm....you may want to look at the title of the thread. You may get some heat for calling Rumsfeld the Sec of State.

Rumsfeld has been condemned by critics as the architect of a disastrous war of choice. But in a broadcast goodbye to the troops, he defends the conflicts in both Iraq and Afghanistan, calling them "historic chapters in the saga of human freedom." Those same critics are suffering from rectal-cranial inversion. The LIBERATION - there is no other word for it - of Afghanistan and Iraq is an historic chapter in the human saga.

Well done oh good and faithful servant. Don't forget to take a retirement you old workaholic. Your family won't like it if you start commanding the kitchen. LOL.

No matter what your opinion is of the job Mr. Rumsfeld did as secretary of defense, I will forever remember him helping to carry the wounded out of the pentagon on that terrible September day. I believe there can be a consensus that his actions demonstrated a tremendous amount of character, at the very least.
To: Kerretarded
Wouldn't it be wonderful if Rumsfeld did become the Secretary of State.
That would be perfect storm to drop on the America hating demons the world over.
