U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy remained in hospital in Boston on Sunday as doctors tried to determine what caused the patriarch of America's most prominent political dynasty to suffer a seizure on Saturday.

After tests on Saturday, Kennedy's doctor said he was not in any immediate danger and had not suffered a stroke but that more tests were needed. There was no word on Kennedy's condition on Sunday morning...

I know what caused it.

Somebody put ice in his Scotch and he got brainfreeze.

The thing I found interesting is that at first they were calling it “stroke like symptoms” and then it was determined as a seizure. My dad had a stroke, and there was no way we could have mistaken his symptoms for anything else than a stroke. I’ve seen people have seizures (grand mal) and there is no correlation between what they go through and what happened to my dad when his stroke was happening. That being said, it must be some kind of seizure that is not a grand mal type.

I think that because someone told me he was pickled.

The brain has all kinds of loops imaginable and then some. Billions of them. Get one of them into some kind of positive feedback for a minute and there you are. Could be a twitch in a muscle for a few seconds, could be a dizzy spell. That’s what he had, dizzyness.

I have it from several infallible sources that the swimmer’s IV had gin in it. He said he wanted it stirred and not shaken.

He also wanted to breaststroke to the hospital because he was in the middle of happy hour. The paramedics thought it unwise.

IT IS OK FOLKS! It was NOT a stroke!

It was a SEIZURE! It was not the type of seizure that an average person goes through though! It was a seizure of Teddy's millions after Obama is elected that caused him to faint!

Obamas Change

More likely a result of his endorsement of Sen. Obama. From what I heard cars with Arkansas license plates were seen leaving the scene.

And wave the vermouth bottle over it, but don't pour any in.

Well, the Moderator will probably shut this one down too, but until he does, congratulations to all of you for avoiding the phony ‘best wishes’ bs that generally accompany these situations. Sorry, Ted, you are, and have been for decades, the enemy. You have actively worked to undermine all that is good in this country, you are the ACLU personified and I have no ‘best wishes for your recovery’.
