RIVERSIDE, California: The Jordanian business partner of a prominent Florida businessman, who has raised more than $500,000 for Senator John McCain, appears to be at the center of a cluster of questionable donations to his Republican presidential campaign. Campaign finance records show that McCain collected a little more than $50,000 in March from members of a single extended family, the Abdullahs, in California and several of their friends. Amid a sea of contributions to the McCain campaign, the Abdullahs stand out. The checks come not from the usual well-off coastal addresses, but from lower-income inland California towns like Downey and Colton. The donations also stand out because of their size - several donors initially wrote checks of $9,200, exceeding the $2,300 limit for an individual gift.

I’m ok with looking into McCain’s financing as long as we do the same with Obama.
Arabs in California are donating to McCain? Fine, lets look at it, but lets also look at arabs in Gaza supporting Obama.

How will the media handle this as compared to Palestinian donors for Obama?

The article was from the International Herald Tribune, not the New York Times.

There is but ONE thing in this article that appears to illegal. I say APPEARS to be because if the maximum amount for a single contributor was violated and the money not returned then that would in fact be an infraction. But these people are all American citizens and despite their not being obviously wealthy the article says the seem to be owners of successful businesses.
I see this as an attempt to use the pathetic old moral equivalency argument to try and get the “One “ off the hook with his completely illegal foreign donations fro Hamas.
