Clarksburg, WV Jay Wolfes campaign has erected billboards that strike at the very heart of the most important issue of this election - high gasoline prices. The culprits are those, like Senator Rockefeller, in Congress who have consistently blocked Americans from drilling for oil in ANWR, the Pacific, the Atlantic and for shale oil in states like Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. After 24 years in the U.S. Senate, Senator Rockefeller expects us to believe he favors energy independence from our reliance on foreign oil. Yet, he continues to vote against drilling in the U.S., Wolfe said.
The billboard asks, Gas too high? Thank Rockefeller. He blocks drilling. Jay Wolfe points out that Rockefellers latest vote against drilling occurred on May 13, 2008 and is documented in the records of the U.S. Senate.
Jay Wolfes goal is to erect billboards in all of West Virginias 55 counties. There are now 21 erected in the following areas:
Buckhannon.....................Huntington..........................Parkersburg
Bridgeport........................Lost Creek..........................Princeton
Clarksburg.......................Logan.................................Rockport
Elizabeth.........................Madison.............................West Union
Franklin...........................Martinsburg........................Winfield
Harrisville.........................Morgantown.......................Petersburg
Hampshire County............South Parkersburg
Can you help us get more of these billboards up in more counties? Please make a contribution online today.
Click on the Oil Rig to help Jay Wolfe erect these billboards and defeat Liberal Jay Rockefeller and send his vote to the US Senate.
I know this race is a long shot but I hope everyone takes a moment to help see this goal realized. He is a conservative David running against a Goliath. It doesn’t take a lot of money to get billboards up in WV $5-$10 would suffice. Thanks.
He run against him once before and got 38 or 39%. With an issue like fuel prices working against Rockefeller he can make up the difference. It is also interesting that the Rockefeller fortune was made in oil.
It's time to send that carpetbagger back to New York. I think the big reason he came to West Virginia is that it's cheaper to buy a Senate seat here than it is in New York.
Maybe he can get one in all 57 states!
That phrase sounds familiar? Go for it JW!
If you like $4/gal, Thank Congress. If you want $10, Vote No Oilbama.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Don’t know if JW lurks on FR anymore, but I wish him the best.
Thanks for posting Maelstorm.
Go, Jay. I’m sending my donation NOW.
