Palin and her pro-Zionist politics

WASHINGTON: Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s religious life and her beliefs have become a topic of intense interest and scrutiny here — due to her recent meteoric rise from relative obscurity to Sen. John McCain’s vice presidential running mate.

Press interviews with the two pastors she is most closely associated with in Wasilla, her hometown in Alaska — the Assembly of God and the Wasilla Bible Church — say her foundation and source of guidance is the Bible, and with that has come her conviction to act as God’s servant.

“The churches that Sarah has attended all believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible,” Janet Kincaid, who has known and worked with Palin for the last 15 years, told reporters. “Her principal ethical and moral beliefs stem from this.”

One of the music directors at the church, Adele Morgan, who has known Palin since she was in third grade, told reporters the Palins moved to the nondenominational Wasilla Bible Church because its ministry is less “extreme” than Pentecostal churches like her previous church, the Assembly of God, which practices speaking in tongues and miraculous healings.

“McCain and Obama are battling over a portion of the Jewish community: Older, conservative Democrats, largely in South Florida, some of whom backed Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primary. McCain’s secular, hawkish credentials appeal to many in that group, who are skeptical of Obama’s relatively short record and have been deluged with rumors about his pro-Palestinian leanings.

-snip-

In the meantime, however, there’s simply little information available about Palin’s views. Two of Palin’s prominent Alaska Jewish allies, Rabbi Joseph Greenberg and businessman Terry Gorlick, told Politico.com they consider her a friend of the Jews. But they said they’d never heard her discuss Middle East policy in detail and that she’d never visited Israel, though they cited a boilerplate Alaska-Israel friendship resolution she signed.

His pro-Paly leanings arent a rumor- he’s a muslim.

Let’s wait for the very last sentence to note exactly what she did with Israel while in her official capacity as governor of Alaska, why dont we?

Baptists believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible too, and that’s McCain’s stated denomination. No one has called McCain out over his beliefs. Catholics are supposed to also, but Biden obviously doesn’t adhere to his Catholic upbringing.

About Obama’s theology:

“Trinity’s work is reflective of the missions of UCC as a whole, Kistler said. He jokingly calls UCC the “most liberal Christian church before you get to Canada,” and more seriously describes it as “progressive” and an “alternative voice against evangelical, religious fundamentalist” Christian churches. A mainstream Protestant Christian denomination, UCC stresses peace and holds the Bible “sacred,” but not literal. It was the first Christian church, Kistler said, to induct blacks, women and homosexuals to church leadership positions.”

“The churches that Sarah has attended all believe in a literal interpretation of the Bible,” ......................

Ok this look into Gov. Palin’s beliefs is a good thing. Now since the MSM and the world media are doing it to Gov. Palin now we can revisit obama and ask the same questions of his 20 year stink in the church of hate. Does his former church believe in the Bible or in black lib. theology? What exactly does his former church believe?????

Let's see...

Arab News doesn't like her.

Not that I needed any additional impetus to vote for Sarah, but this brings to mind the oft-quoted phrase: "The enemy of my enemy is my friend."

I'm going to forward this to as many fellow MOT's as possible. If the story only sways a few thousand votes nationwide, it may turn out to be critical.

Oh the horrors!!!!

You'd be surprised at the number of FReepers who look down their noses at Biblical literalists--and I don't just mean the Randian atheists, either.

I've been arguing with anti-literalist Catholics and Eastern Orthodox all day.

Unfortunately . . . that is not the case.

The Divine promise of blessing given to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Genesis 12:3 - “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee:”

Sarah’s church is Christian, and Christians prefer not to be cursed, so support the descendants of Abraham. Anti-semetic bigots would do well to think about the verse.
