An estimated 350 people attended the opening Rosary Procession and Mass for the Novena for the Protection of Life and Marriage at St. Ephrems Maronite Catholic Church in El Cajon on Monday, Sept. 8, the Feast of the Nativity of Mary. El Cajon is a suburban city east of San Diego.
The Rosary began in the church, and participants then walked in procession toward the Mariam, Mother of Life Shrine, stopping at various places along the way to pray each decade. The procession was led by San Diego Auxiliary Bishop Salvatore Cordileone and Fr. Nabil Mouannes, pastor of St. Ephrems. Twenty-one Knights of Columbus Color Guard members escorted the group.
The procession stopped at the new Memorial for the Unborn at St. Ephrems, located just below the Mother of Life Shrine. The Memorial was dedicated and blessed by the bishop.
Pro-life coordinator Pat Hansen reads a prayer for an end to abortion by Priests for Life during the dedication ceremony. The memorial is of a pre-born infant cradled in Gods hands.

Good to read of these people.
Prayers for these innocents.
I live in El Cajon. It’s mostly conservative but has just enough liberals to run it down.
How beautiful.
