'INSPIRING' VISIT & MEET WITH BRAVEST

Sarah Palin yesterday made an unscheduled tour of a visitors center at Ground Zero dedicated to those who lost their lives in the 9/11 terror attacks.

The Republican vice-presidential nominee nodded her head several times and said, "Oh, my goodness," while a retired firefighter showed her pictures of the burning World Trade Center and exhibits that highlighted the moments the hijacked planes struck each tower.

Her tour guide was Lee Ielpi, whose son Jonathan, a firefighter, died at the World Trade Center.

Palin told Ielpi, "My parents came after the cleanup," and Ielpi replied, "The whole country did." She repeated his words, "The whole country did."

the sad thing about the above is that when u poll firefighters from the IAFF, the regular members always lean republican, yet the international president sheetburger always endorses a lib
as a retired ff & still union member of the international,i’m just waiting for my quaterly union mag to come to my house w/ bambi’s pic explaining how great he is for america
hey sheetburger, how about polling the members 1st, then let the union endorce the winner

Whenever you see a picture of Governor Palin you will notice she wears a small, rectangular pin on the left side of her jacket, blouse or shirt. It took me a while to figure out what this pin is; it’s a Blue Star. She is a Blue Star Mother and she wears the pin for her son who is serving in Iraq.

Does anyone know what kind of bracelet she is wearing in these photos. I assume it’s a 9/11 memorial bracelet.
