Captain Marx will set a record for pardons and other such actions.....after all, he has many thugs to take care of. And his agenda will generate the need.

Obama to absolve Emanuel in gov. scandalObama is already showing himself to be a master of probing self-examination:

And the MSM reaction will be: See! We told you Obama wasn't involved.
the same reaction they would have with a Republican.

And thus it begins! Of course the Democrats in Congress needed a partner in the White House to continue their reign of scrupulousness!

I wonder if Captain Marx will “absolve” himself of taking the president’s job without meeting the Constitutional requirements ????

Syn: To Absolve, Exonerate, Acquit. from
dictionary.com:
Usage: We speak of a man as absolved from something that binds his conscience, or
involves the charge of wrongdoing; as, to absolve from allegiance or from the obligation of an oath, or a promise. We speak of a person as exonerated, when he is released from some burden which had rested upon him; as, to exonerate from suspicion, to exonerate from blame or odium.
It implies a purely moral acquittal. We speak of a person as acquitted, when a decision has been made in his favor with reference to a specific charge, either by a jury or by disinterested persons; as,
he was acquitted of all participation in the crime.

We know enough about Obama now to recognize his operating procedure. When confronted with uncomfortable information about an associate to whom he is tied, say the connection isn't that tight. Then if that doesn't work, say it's all nonsense and people are getting their facts wrong. Then if that doesn't work, say he's not the guy you knew and disown him.
With Rahm he sort of tried the first step by saying there was no contact and then ammending it to "no inappropriate" contact by "staff". Now he is saying it is all nonsense and people have their facts wrong. Will he get to tossing Rahm under the bus? And will the media just look the other way again as they did with Ayers, Right, Rezko, etc?

Have we ever had a President that pardoned someone before he was even sworn in?

Until the transcripts of the tapes are released (other than the snippets in the Fitz complaint) Obama can claim that Emanuel did nothing wrong because...Emanuel said he did nothing wrong. When the empirical truth of the actual recordings/transcript are known, if Emanuel is found to have lied then Obama can claim...Emanuel lied.

"Obama’s aides plan to release a report this week absolving Rahm Emanuel" Hitler's aides absolve Der Fuhrer of any wrong doing or nastiness to the Jews. Steven Spielberg aides release report that the last Indiana Jones movie really was AWESOME and that anyone who didn't like it is just a jerk.
