A Look at Daschle's Voting Record on Taxes: A consistent Vote against Taxpayers
Americans for Tax Reform ^ | Feb. '09 | Press Release

A look back at the voting record of former Sen. Tom Daschle, Health and Human Services Secretary-designate, shows a lifetime average score of just 7% on America for Tax Reform's annual Congressional Scorecard. Tom Daschle, like Loretta Helmsley, believes 'only the little people' should pay taxes. He thinks he's too important for that, and he gives the word 'hypocrisy' a bad odor. Obama has only been president for two weeks and the scandals associated with his cabinet promise to make Warren Harding's cabinet look like a group of observant Franciscans by comparison. Apart from Hillary's already notorious dubious past she is being sued by Judicial Watch under Article I, Section 6, as ineligible for Secretary of State; Tim Geithner has been exposed as a tax fraud (he'll head Treasury and the IRS of all things!); Holder, the new Attorney General, has distinguished himself in the legal profession by sponsoring the Clinton pardons of FALN terrorists and defending fugitive Marc Rich; Richardson withdrew in disgrace over a home-brewed scandal in New Mexico. Now Tom Daschle joins the corrupt crew. We all know the Democratic Congress has, or soon will, confirm these hacks. But, what has been deliberately ignored in the MSM is what it tells us about their messiah! We havn't heard a peep about their Chosen One's making a travesty of "change," "turning the page," and "a new ethically- unchallenged" administration. But presidential Press Secretary Gibbs still defends Obama with a straight face before the adoring press. One Republican member of Congress quipped that Democrats like Daschle enjoy raising taxes because they don't pay taxes.

No matter...what I've learned is, I don't have to pay my taxes until Obama offers me a job.

Just remember the Democrats are for the poor working class people that is why they like to raise taxes. It is for your own good!
