Prison Officials Are Loosening Restrictions on Taliban Supporter (Lindh)

Prison officials are easing restrictions on John Walker Lindh, the Californian captured by U.S. forces in Afghanistan who became known as the "American Taliban," according to government documents...officials are expanding the number of people who can contact Lindh, who is serving a 20-year prison term without possibility of parole in a medium-security prison in Terre Haute, Ind. Lindh pleaded guilty more than six years ago to charges of supporting the Taliban and carrying a rifle and two hand grenades onto the battlefield in Afghanistan, where radicals fought the Northern Alliance aligned with U.S. forces.....

Lindh's relatives depicted him as a misguided youth...James Brosnahan, a San Francisco attorney for Lindh, did not have an immediate comment. D. Anthony West, President Obama's nominee to lead the Justice Department's Civil Division, also assisted in Lindh's defense. The Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing on West last week but has not scheduled a vote on his nomination...Relatives of former CIA officer Johnny Michael Spann, who was killed in an uprising in the prison at Mazar e-Sharif, where Lindh was held after his capture, advocated for a stiffer prison term when Lindh was sentenced in October 2002.

All you “true conservatives” out there who just couldn’t stomach voting for McCain have yourselves to thank. How does it feel to watch Obama dismantle this country? Are you still feeling smug about the blow you delivered to the RINOs? Is watching this better than watching what McCain would have done?

You have helped this man hurt our economy, the unborn, our soldiers and wounded veterans, our national security, and our Constitution. You can’t claim you didn’t know he was going to do this. Many here told you this would happen. You had plenty of hard evidence about who this man was and you gave him the power. He didn’t win the Presidency. You gave it to him. You are no better than the “sheeple” you love to ridicule. In fact, you are worse because you knew more about this awful man and you didn’t vote against him.

So pat yourselves on the back. You stayed true to yourselves— but you sold out your countrymen and our troops and all future Americans. Our forefathers forgot “themselves” in order to protect the great ideals of America. You are nothing like them. You basically stood aside so this man could sweep past and destroy freedom.

Obama and his minions played you like a fiddle and you became his instrument.
