A pharmacist shot an armed robber dead Tuesday at a drugstore off South Orange Blossom Trail, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.

It was at least the fourth time this year that a robber was killed at a Central Florida business and was the second drugstore holdup that ended in death. The shooting happened about 5:15 p.m. at JR Pharmacy, 2160 Whispering Lakes Blvd. The man came into the shop with a handgun and, after a brief confrontation, was shot to death, sheriff's spokesman Jim Solomons said.

I understand that the crime rate in Florida is droping. All these dead criminals are the "blood in the streets" that the anti-freedom types warned us about.

Ah.... south OBT. Used to hang out there a lot when I was stationed at the NTC in Orlando back in the early 80’s. It was a dive then, probably hasn’t changed much.

What IS the USDA Recommended Daily Allowance of Pb (Lead) for an armed criminal?

Their web-site says:

Minumum 250-400 grains, which can be achieved with:

8-9 .22 long-rifle rounds,
6-7 .25 caliber rounds,
4-5 .32 caliber slugs
2-3 9mm, .38+P or .357 magnum slugs
OR
1-2 big ol’ .44 Mag, .45 ACP or .45 Colt bullets

;^)

This is the way that robbery is supposed to end for the perpetrator.

Wow, two stories in a row with a happy ending. The other was posted just above this one on FR. Give this person a medal too. He saved society from more mayhem.

Normally I am against abortion, but just imagine how bad the crime situation would be if we werent aborting a lot of these criminals.

"The Legislature has empowered people to protect themselves," said sheriff's Cmdr. Paul "Spike" Hopkins. "People are tired of being victims."

No, the Constitution empowered the people. The legislature is just echoing that because many state and local governments have unconstitutionally abrogated that right.

"1-2 big ol’ .44 Mag, .45 ACP or .45 Colt bullets"

There's always the risk of overdose with one of these...
