email from NOW gang, bashing McDonnell to raise $$ (BARF ALERT)

Posted on 11/05/2009 11:35:03 AM PST by Gopher Broke

Dear xxxx xxxxxx,

The elections held Tuesday should open all of our eyes.

Please meet the new Governor of Virginia:

[The] " dynamic new trend of working women and feminists ... is ultimately detrimental to the family."

You read that right -- the new Governor of Virginia thinks working women are "detrimental" to the family.

If you're scared that it might get worse in 2010 -- and you should be -- well, I have a way you can help fight these right-wing extremists who'd like to take over our government.

NOW is committed to making sure women's voices are heard on the campaign trail and in the halls of Congress. We're already gearing up to hit the streets and educate voters, urge candidates to address issues that affect women's daily lives and get voters to the polls.

And we can't do it without your help now. We must begin planning and budgeting early so no one else who thinks women's rights are a "detriment" makes it to the top.

Will you contribute to NOW's 2010 voter outreach and education effort?

NOW's strength has always been our network of grassroots activists throughout the country. With your help, we will equip them with the tools they need to reach out to voters, helping them see through lies spread on the campaign trail with factual information about the candidates and dangerous ballot initiatives targeting same sex marriage and reproductive health rights.

Please contribute today. We can't do it without your support.

For justice and equality,

Terry O'Neill NOW President

Actually it said "working women and feminists." But even that was taken out of context.

It depends on what the meaning of "is" is.

ballot initiatives targeting same sex marriage

Gee...is there any doubt that NOW! is really just a lesbian front group at this point?

I don't know any real-life women who identify with this crowd...

NOW still exists? Who knew?

So McDonnell is anti woman. Yet as I recall the exit polls show he got a majority of the female vote. Either those women were too stupid to know what was good for them or they did not believe the lies about McDonnell.

I hope that, in 2012, McDonnell will run against Sen. Jim Webb. When Webb defeated then-Sen. George Allen, in 2006, Webb got 50% of the vote.

The tired thesis that was discredited and women overwhelmingly broke for Donnell. But that doesn't matter to the NOW harpies. The caricature of conservatives keeping women barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen never fails to raise dollars for America's femi-nazis.

I hope Bob McDonnell completes his four-year term as Governor.

Then ... we'll see.

No, they only want particular women's voices to be heard. Women like my wife, who would have liked nothing more than to stay home and raise the kids while I made enough money to support us both - her voice they don't want heard.

These mean faced clipped haired women (Democrats and Marxists no doubt) will not look at the substance of the comments by the Virginia governor-elect. If you look at the facts you will agree that working women and feminists are detrimental to the family, especially in terms of abortions, divorces, separations, not to mention emotional damage to children.

Most women will put her letter into the trash can.

These women are just a bunch of dependent losers about as useless as boobies on a male swnie.

In all the years I’ve been an independent woman, I cannot think of one thing these women did for me. They just suck up money from other weak women for dues and donations.

‘I’ determine my own worth when applying for a job...
‘I’ negotiate for the worth of my time doing the job...
‘I’ document my performance and present my accomplishments and don’t hesitate to ask for a raise should I think the job I’m doing is worth more...
‘I’ defend myself in the work place, I don’t need anybody else to do it for me and frankly I don’t believe in the sexual harrassment BS...there’s always the word NO, or a kick in the shin...women are NOT helpless, unless of course brute force is involved, then it’s time to call the cops not some goofball women’s organiztion...
‘I’ determine my own charitable efforts...individually or with a few peers at my church...

My rights are written in the US Constitution...I am equal to all, and neither above or below any other citizen of this country.

What possible use is a gaggle of women to me. This herd mentality by a bunch of liberal posturizing women is just some way for a few women to get attention on a national level. I can discuss women’s issues with my friends and get as much out of it.

Even cows in a herd are individuals, for pete’s sakes.

Pardon my rant...but...
