MIAMI - Sen.Tom Coburn (R-OK) is endorsing Marco Rubio for U.S. Senate this morning, FOX has learned. Rubio is battling Gov. Charlie Crist, in the contentious Florida GOP primary for the position.
..."I proudly endorse Marco Rubio for the U.S. Senate and look forward to working with him in Washington," Dr. Coburn said. "His genuine principles and proven record are evidence that he will come to Washington and be a consistent advocate for fiscal responsibility, individual liberty and the traditional values that have made America great."
...Welcoming Dr. Coburn’s endorsement, Rubio said, "Dr. Coburn is every big-spending politician’s biggest nightmare, but he’s a source of relief for taxpayers, working families and entrepreneurs who deserve better than Washington’s current agenda. Dr. Coburn is a businessman and doctor who understands how our free market system is being threatened by Washington.

Both of our Senators have now endorsed Rubio — Inhofe and Coburn. Dr. Coburn can give Rubio a lesson on what it is like to run against the establishment candidate as that is what he did in 2004 and won big in the primary and general.
Our Oklahoma grassroots took him over the finish line like the FL grassroots will take Rubio!
Boy, Crist is running the nastiest ads I’ve ever seen.

When Crist expressed the Rat talking points in the Sunday debate about how the stimulus is working, that was it for me.

I think our good Doc has made the best choice, and glad to see him make the endorsement. We got to get this next election right and put character back in Washington. Best wishes in doing that Florida!

I guess when you’re losing you pull out all the stops. I really wish these politicians would stick with the issues.
If they did, it would expose them - so they attack and attack their opponent.
Dr. Coburn the best Senator with the absoloute best staff ever. This is a great pick-up for Rubio.
