"(Petraeus) is not smarter than McChrystal," Taliban spokesman Qari Muhammad Ahmed Yusuf said in a statement. "Also, his losing consciousness last week in an investigative hearing before the members of the U.S. Congress brought his physical competence and his courage into question."
*snip*
"His military standing and his four-star rank greatly waned around the world" after the fainting episode, mocked the Taliban's Yusuf, according to a SITE Intelligence Group translation.
McChrystal's firing by Obama, by the way, was "divine victory," the Taliban mouthpiece added.

That could very well be true - just not in the way the "Taliban mouthpiece" intended.
“Also, his losing consciousness last week in an investigative hearing before the members of the U.S. Congress brought his physical competence and his courage into question.”
Says someone who has obviously not even watched Congress on CSPAN...
LOL. Not to mention having to endure it in person!
You get the inference. ;)
Duuugh!..
McChrystal voted for Barry Half-White...
Petreaus more than likely didn't..
Looks like they may “misunderestimate” him. Ha.
Every day, 3 times a day, all terrorists kneel to the West and praise Allah for Barack Øbama, everyone he associates himself with, every one of his supporters and everything he does.
Tell that to Al Qaeda in Iraq.
I wonder how the good General takes to being mocked by the enemy?
Just one sound bite is enough to make me want to pass out.
And, with good reason, it seems.
I’ve got a feeling he adheres to the philosophy that actions speak louder than words.
In the 2008 Election, Obama carried the Taliban by 83% points. They are just supporting their favorite.
Fer shure; but, it will be fun seeing the attitude adjustment in store for the Taliban and their “mouthpiece”.
Hmmm, that may be just a tad less than the margin of support he received from the American State-Run-Media.
I have Benadryl...
A supply commensurate with exposure, I hope.
They are scared. They criticized Bush approaching the ‘04 elections too. They are once again trying to communicate with their supporters, a.k.a. the Democrat Party, and feeding them talking points in hopes of deflecting the general they fear and lamenting the loss of one with whom they could maintain the status quo.
But, Patraeus (sp?) already faced the hatred of half of this country in return for service nobly rendered (’General Betray Us’) so the Taliban really don’t understand that taunting him for fainting in a conference room is not really going to ‘get’ to him. He might find their pathetic attempts amusing.
I hear ya...this was certainly not the first time he has been insulted by idiots.
>A supply commensurate with exposure, I hope.
I’m not sure about that.
I have a bit of insomnia, and a touch of allergies, and Benadryl works quite nicely for/on both.
{Benadryl was actually developed as a sleeping pill.}
