Lots of places have high gun ownership levels and high crime rates. Fer sure. I believe the standard social science explanation for Switzerland is that the govt takes good care of everyone so there is no need for crime.
Sometimes the mindless drivel that passes for satisfactory analysis is enough to make you want to buy 10 acres in the wilderness and grow your own food.
