Will Amanpour be wearing more stylish head scarve then Andrea Mitchell when she interviews imadinnahjacket?
He and Krauthammer have been bloodied quite a lot lately over their stupid and self-destructive attacks on her.
Don't look for Chuck to apologize—he will just try to make it up.
It's Hill & Bill Sunday. Hmmmm...perhaps a warmup for the Secretary of State run in 2012. Will be listening closely for Bubba's subtle Obama insults. Might be interesting.
No wonder no one pays any attention to this Liberal Papbabble Festival every Sunday. Look who they keep dredging up.
So is it DeMint against an otherwise all anti-O’Donnell lineup, all the time? Is this the MSM’s version of Maher’s threat to keep punking her if she doesn’t come on his show again?
Morning all,
Thanks for the thread AB!
I am curious if “Fair and Balanced” Fox News will ask Rove to clarify just what his connection to the Castle campaign was. Something none of the shows that have had him on have this week have yet to do.
The 9-12 Project published the fact Mr Rove contacted them for the Castle campaign asking them to switch their support to Castle.
Rove was an active agent, even if unpaid, of the Castle camp.
Rove has never acknowledge that connection. He has repeatedly billed himself in his slanderous attacks on O'Donnell as just a political analyst giving his objective opinion.
That is lying by omission.
That Rove has not made full disclose of his connections to the Castle campaign indicates a clear conflict of interest and a deliberate attempt to mislead Fox News and it's viewers. In the private sector, concealing such a conflict would be consider an attempt to defraud and result in the termination of employment if not an arrest.
When you know of his connection to the Castle camp, Roves comments are a whole lot less credible
I have been a loyal, even fanatical, GOP foot solider for 30 years.
That is all done.
Watching Rove, and the national GOP slime their own nominated candidate every day since Tuesday ended that.
And I am far from the only one who is feeling this way. When Rove loses people like me, he has lost the GOP base.
Thanks AB, morning everyone.
Basically, Maddow calls Clinton a Republican; Clinton fights back through Davis.
I thought I heard a few minutes ago on the FNC that she would be on Fox News Sunday.
The reason the are doing everything they can to sabotage O'Donnell is the same reason the McCain supporters spent all their time here post 2004 elections trashing anyone inside the GOP who might be considered a challenge to McCain.
The GOP Establishment believes that by trashing outsider Republicans they make their chosen candidate more palatable to the GOP base. It is an old tried and true tactic of the GOP Establishment. It has worked for them before. It is how we ended up with McCain in 2008.
In this case O'Donnell is a proxy the Rovite GOP Establishments think they can use. If she loses they think they can use that to discredit the tea parties, Palin and Demint. They think if she is defeated, they can blame her defeat on the tea parties, Palin and Demint for refusing to listen to them.
It may even of worked IF Rove, and the rest of the GOP drones, had shut up after the primary. By continuing these attacks on a party nominated candidate after she won, the GOP Establishment has made a fatal political error.
If O'Donnell loses, EVERYONE in the Conservative base of the GOP is going to point at Rove, and his GOP Establishment drones, slanderous post primary attacks as what is to blame. If she wins, everyone is going to remember that the GOP Establishment lead by Rove, did their best to sabotage her.
Rove, and the GOP Establishment mouthpieces in the media, face either ostracism from the Conservative base of the GOP as political traitors or ostracism from the Conservative base of the GOP as irrelevant, non-credible cretins.
So either way the Roveites in the GOP Establishment are creating a lose-lose position for themselves with their daily trash talking about ODonnell
Thanks AB. Looks like 7 of our spec-ops guys were interdicted going into Iran. Send in Cahtah or Jesse.
I hear you John, but just keep in mind all those GOPers who are NOT sliming her, and are part of her side. DeMint, Sessions, Ryan, Palin, etc... We have a GOP in these folks.
This is a fight WITHIN the GOP our side MUST win. Don’t give up yet!
IMHO, we ARE winning. As Admiral Perry said, “Don’t give up the ship!”
