Obama fatigue? Press room half empty for president

The White House Briefing Room was half empty when President Barack Obama delivered a statement Monday afternoon on a Senate vote related to the tax cuts legislation he's pushing. Reporters filled the first three rows for the president's appearance -- though a few were taking vacant seats. And almost every seat in the back four rows was empty. That kind of sparse attendance for a president's personal appearance is unusual, particularly for a president in his first term and one engaged in a high stales tax debate with Congress. Perhaps it was the short notice and late hour.

They found out the first black president was not coming.
To: Nachum
Perhaps they showed up in masses and left once they realized clinton wasn’t going to be there.
To: Nachum
If Clinton came back it would have been SRO.

I read that headline as “Press Room half for empty president.” Sometimes dyslexia makes things more clear.

Lazy journalists don’t show up for work? Don’t they realize that their job is to go watch The Empty Suit and the Teleprompter, and then write to the world about how great that show is? No wonder the Old Media is dying. Of course, they could be skipping out so that they can look for actual work, or go to school to learn a real skill. If I was an editor, heads would roll.

Don’t tell me this has nothing to do with Bill Clinton. He reminded the ‘corpse’ what it’s like to have a POTUS who knows his material w’out a teleprompter, and who actually enjoys interacting with them. Obama lost a lot of luster with that fiasco.

Why show up, all you would need to write in your column is I,I,I, Bush's fault, me,me,me, Dick Cheny's fault, my, my, my, Big oil's Fault, mine, mine, mine, the people's fault for not understanding, me, me, me, my,my,my, I,I,I.

Well I wish that ‘fatigue’ would spread into the airwaves. I am so sick and tired of hearing that bastard's voice I could vomit. Every freakin’ day, every hour on the hour...if we're not being deluged with his voice, we have to hear his name. I'm sick of it! 2 more years...uggggh! He's an abomination.
