He is a terrorist, not unlike the POS who attempted to bomb Times Square.

Lock him-up in prison for the rest of his life.

OK, but lets have a trial first.

Maybe he is what they say, maybe he's not. Both the source of this article(Seattle Times)and the FBI have rocky track records and questionable motives that need to be considered before hanging this fellow.

Remember, it's not your fathers FBI anymore. The days of Effram Zimbalast Jr. are long gone. Today's FBI reports to the arch-racist Eric Holder, who is a proven anti-white ideologue who has said in the past that hate crime laws don't apply to whites, and has shrugged off the New Black Panther case as not even in the same league as the sufferings of "my people". OK, the FBI is run by the Obama administration, and reports directly to Holder.

Jerhad Loughner was supposed to be a "white supremicist" too. That lasted about 24 hours until they were forced to admit it was all bull, after Freepers and other citizen/reporters discovered many real facts that contradicted this narrative.

Janet Napalatino has made it clear that whites, the patriot movement, militias, Tea Party members and Ron Paul supporters are to be feared. One of FedGov's last attempts to prove the existence of this threat was the Hutaree Milita raid, they again were supposedly "white supremecists" and an imminent danger. Only that whole story came apart too, a bunch of the charges have been quietly dropped, and the rest may be.

Another recent FBI "success" was the arrest of the Christmas Tree Bomber in Portland, OR. Only it turned out in that case that pretty much everyone he had been conspiring with were FBI agents. Was that entrapment, or did he have murder in his heart? He was 19, I believe, and seemed like a confused kid who would likely have stayed at OSU chasing girls if the FBI hadn't enticed him.

The newspaper report is full of such obvious propaganda and stilted language that it's a warning sign. Let's just look at a few things here. First off somehow the main source for information is the always beligerant SPLC. OK, they have set themselves up as the self-promoting experts on the far right. But the paper doesn't just quote them, it includes this obvious paste-job of complimentary prose disguised as description.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, based in Montgomery, Ala., is a nonprofit civil rights organization dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry, and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of society.

OK, that's pretty inaccurate as anyone who has studied the SPLC knows.

Secondly it's odd, to say the least, that the SPLC has instant information on this fellow. More than the Army base he was at do.

The writer LEADS the story with the SPLC charges (that he was part of the National Alliance) and then, only after they've praised the SPLC, do we get what would be the lead in a more reputable paper - the statement of the FBI themselves.

Gutt (the FBI agent) declined to talk about Harpham's alleged motive or whether he is connected with hate crime groups.

Of course the SPLC works in conjunction with law enforcement, so who knows who is feeding who what information.

According to the Seattle Times timeline the accuesd joined the National Alliance two years after it's founder died. According to the Wikipedia article on that organization they were in disarray and infighting at that time, and more or less folded soon after. So, while it's possible that this happened, it's a bit strange.

So, maybe it turns out this report is 100% correct and the dude is a crazed racist lone-bomber wannabe.

But, based on this article I'm not yet convinced.
