All in all, this was staged like everything else in President Obama’s life. That he says that he's all for sport shooting or hunting is all well and good; but, the Second Amendment says nothing about sport shooting or hunting. It is about a right of possession and not about a right to perform an activity.
God help us in the next four years.
Of course it is a photo op. The Won shot (no pun intended) off his mouth and said he had shot a gun.
I have never been skeet shooting, I admit. Only dove and quail hunting.
But I have never seen anyone hold a shotgun that high on their shoulder and against their cheek. Looks like lots of future pain to me. Of course, maybe some shoot that way. But I’ve never seen it.
Interesting that they felt enough pressure to even have to release it - we’re winning, and getting to them.
I was convinced it was fake from the start. Everything about that jerk is fake.
I’d bet that even in his relationships with that thing he lives with, he is the one that ‘fakes it’.
I say it's a paste-up.
BTW - Why does the image of Mao swimming in the Yangtze River come to mind?
If you look at a good quality pic of this and make it big enough you can see the porting on the barrel. The odd thing is there is no smoke coming out of any of the porting on the near side. Also odd is that there appears to be a number of ports on the near side but only one stream of smoke coming out the other side. Wouldn't both sides of the barrel have an equal number of porting holes?
The picture is is staged, but the author lot the article loses all credibility when he claims to be a skeet shooter and has never seen a ported shotgun at a skeet range or even knows what one is.
No idea of it's validity ,but...
Around his entire body and the gun is a weird ‘aura’ of incongruously smaller pixels...some of them uniformly triangular as if the background and layer resolutions don't match.
It's -really- weird looking.
If I had to guess, I'd say it's an extremely recent photo of him 'shopped into a summer background.

It is fake. It is a picture/image of a photoshopped image.
Take it to PS and zoom in on the upper part of the forearm between the elbow and his girl-like little wrist (where a tricep muscle should be). You will see that the pixels do line up and are the same size.
The problem is that the definition between the light skin and the dark background are perfect, too perfect. You will notice that they are straight as an arrow and look exactly like a stairway.
It is an obvious overlay of two images. One taken in mid-summer and one taken last week.

Knowing the “high rollers” and others in political groups that go hunting, a little “refreshment” has normally been consumed before and during the hunt.....if you know what I mean. Consequently, either Cheney or his “guest” were not paying enough attention to where everyone was during the hunt.
