There is a bright spot in the March jobless numbers, if government is your line of work.
The unemployment rate for civilian government workers dropped to 3.6 percent in March from 3.8 percent in February, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

How does one lose a government job? The only ones that they would want to fire are conservatives. The military become unemployed when the term of enlistment expires and they do not reup so it could be Veterans.

IIRC, a 3-4% rate is normal attrition due to retirement, illness, and leaving for other employment opportunities, etc.
