Congressman Jim McDermott got crushed by Megyn Kelly on Fox News. That disgrace of a congressmen has blamed the victims of the IRS, not the IRS.
My answer to McDermott, if I were a private citizen being targeted by him and told by him to provide proof and defend myself, would be something like this...

"Congressman. Let's get something straight. You work for me and the People... You answer to me and the People. Our government, who should be serving the People and upholding their rights, have instead violated our most basic rights in a most egregious of ways. You, as my employee and representative, should be demanding answers from the govt you represent and demand accountability from them NOT ME.
Your elitist attitude and your belief that you Lord it over the people is all too common among today's politicians....and the reason why we have an unimaginable debt, and are seeing our freedoms and leadership position in the world slipping away. You serve the people. You and govt are accountable to the People, not the other way around. As a matter of fact congressman, we should switch chairs. You and your fellow unrepresenting representatives should be sitting here answering questions from the People for this outrageous violation of our once cherished constitution and God given rights, as well as your abysmal failure in leadership in furthering the cause of freedom and the American way.
If We The People are forced to answer to you and your fellow politicians that is un-American...that is tyranny. If you guys are forced to answer to US and be held accountable to US, that is Freedom....that is American. Now Congressman, with all due respect, do your job as our servant and uphold the constitution and don't you dare ever ask me to be accountable to govt or blame me for its unconstitutional actions!"

McDermott is the same scumbag who leaked to the world in 2002 that the US knew OBL was using a sat phone and we knew where hr was because of it.
The next day, bin Laden ditched the sat phone... and it took nine more years to find him.
He is simply upset all the IRS can do to the likes of us is take everything we have, ruin our lives, put us in jail, and shut us up like we deserve. He regrets those on his side don't have the pleasure of hearing the screams and watching the blood flow while they crush us.
One justification raised by the liberals is that these groups are political. With Democrats in control, there is NO issue which isn’t political. Even soda pop is now political. When a government tries to control everything, everything becomes political.
I can’t believe Megan was able to remain cool after he yelled,”stop it!” to her the way he did. The man is evil.
