(Reuters) - Pakistan rearrested former president Pervez Musharraf on Thursday after accusations that he was personally responsible for the deaths of more than 100 people when he ordered commandos to storm the Red Mosque in 2007.

Arrest for Musharraf means the government asks him nicely to stay in his compound. If they tried to actually put him in jail there would be a military coup. I think they gave him a 24 hour window to leave the country and he refused.
