You MEAN the federal State...

No . . . I mean THE state. Any state. Federal, “State” (referring to the governments of the “several” states), or “local” (city, county, or whatever). Just as we have no regime control of religion (Federal, “State,” or “local”), and for much the same reasons.

Thanks for the comeback.

You missed something.. A State or Local giverment can rightfully be as corrupt as the people themselves are..
OR allow it to be.. RIGHTFULLY.. It’s right THAT givernment represents the people as the are.. AND it does.. If they allow corruption they themselves are corrupt..

The federal givernment is NOT the same.. the federal givernment is a givernment on paper.. a construct.. not really real... it is a consensus.. a committee.. or sometimes a MOB..

States can pull out.. pull away from a mobbed up fed..
AND SHOULD.. they can secede.. for that is WHAT Civil War under our system “IS”..

BUT if the people in all States are (generally) corrupt.. will NOT secede..
They then HAVE the givernment that is right and logical..
It represents THEM...

This is a hard saying for an OPTIMIST... to accept.. but it is true nevertheless..
Most OPTIMISTs are often and usually are delusional..
Optimists are THEN......... the enemy..
