In light of the financial mismanagement scandal and increasing criminal prosecutions against Greenpeace activists across the globe, could this ambitious American be plotting a coup d'etat in Greenpeace-land?

A thousand years from now, in the Year 3014, people will marvel at the Nazca Lines, and look at the dramatic straight lines of the Hummingbird, along with the strange, out of place curved path leading up to it, which was made by environmental protesters back in 2014. What will they say about the people who lived in our time?

They should have let Gruber apologize.

So, you have turned over their names to the Peruvian police then?

A decent question to ask in this case; “Who planned this?” The ones who did the deed are obvious but did they do it on their own volition? These banners were designed and sized exactly for these conditions and place. If it was somebody currently beyond Peru’s borders, I’d want that person to voluntarily repatriate themselves to Peru to “Face the Music!” There is a tale that wags this dog and everybody concerned should take appropriate responsibility.

"For many years Greenpeace US has been making a concerted effort to reach out to and collaborate with diverse constituencies, many of whom share different cultures, values and priorities."

And pooped on them!

The next time you hear from me, we will be a better and more respectful Greenpeace.

The next time we hear from you should be your end of trial speech before they haul you and your clan off to your new home.

Otoh, if I wanted to tarnish Greenpeace forever, the Nazca Lines/Greenpeace graffiti would definitely do it.

After seeing their stuff all these years, now watching things turned around on them would be more entertaining if the price for admission wasn't so high.

Instead, I'm just angry with the same sort of anger I had watching the islamic crazies blow up the Buddhas of Bamiyan.

Greenpeace, like their Taliban counterparts have no respect for the accomplishments of previous generations or civilizations. I’m very surprised they didn’t completely tear the place up with 4-wheelers after getting the picture they wanted.

Greenpeace stopped being about “the Earth” back in the ‘70s.

Now they’re just a bunch of Marxist dirtbags.
