Islamic State’s Killing of Jordanian Pilot Sparks Mideast Outrage

Brutal Tactics of Militant Group Have Startled Arab Nations

BEIRUT—Outrage spread across the Arab world after the release of a video by Islamic State said to show the burning to death of a captive Jordanian pilot, raising alarm in the region over the militant group’s brutal tactics and startling Arab governments involved in the military campaign against it.

The 22-minute video begins with footage of Jordanian involvement in a U.S.-led military coalition against Islamic State. It then shows what appears to be First Lt. Muath al-Kasasbeh describing Jordan’s military operations before he is burned alive inside a cage.

Jordan’s government has confirmed the death of the air force pilot, who was captured in December by Islamic State militants after his plane crashed on a mission over Syria, but didn’t say whether the video was authentic.

Newspapers in the region also reflected the horror on Wednesday. Pan Arab daily Al Hayat lead with a single-word headline on its front page to describe the killing: Barbarity. Asharq al-Awsat, another pan Arab newspaper, described a state of “global shock” after the video was released Tuesday.

“People are shocked and terrified at the horrific murder of the pilot,” a former Jordanian official said. “A real crime,” said Fajr, a resident of the Syrian city of Raqqa, the de facto capital of the cross-border territory in Syria and Iraq that the Sunni extremists control.

Jordan, a pro-Western Arab monarchy, is a key ally in the U.S.-led campaign against the extremist group, and the pilot’s fate has caused internal debate there over the costs of getting involved militarily against an extremist group that—despite its brutality—has attracted into its ranks young, disenfranchised Jordanians and other Sunni youth across the region.

Many people across the Middle East have condemned Islamic State’s beheading of foreign hostages...

We’ve been outraged at ISIS’ tactics for a while. I guess the ME didn’t care when babies were being crucified for a couple years?

The plot twist is that these nations have millions of ISIS recruits that will release hell if they actually start going after them.

ISIS isnt an ideology of an established nation-state to invade and dismantle. It’s world-wide Islamic fanaticism with territory it happens to control.

Stomp out that territory, ISIS still exists.

Malone: You said you wanted to get Capone. Do you really wanna get him? You see what I’m saying is, what are you prepared to do?

Ness: Anything within the law.

Malone: And *then* what are you prepared to do? If you open the can on these worms you must be prepared to go all the way. Because they’re not gonna give up the fight, until one of you is dead.

Ness: I want to get Capone! I don’t know how to do it.

Malone: You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. *That’s* the *Chicago* way! And that’s how you get Capone. Now do you want to do that? Are you ready to do that? I’m offering you a deal. Do you want this deal?

Ness: I have sworn to capture this man with all legal powers at my disposal and I will do so.

Malone: Well, the Lord hates a coward.

[jabs Ness with his hand, and Ness shakes it]

Malone: Do you know what a blood oath is, Mr. Ness?

Ness: Yes.

Malone: Good, ‘cause you just took one.

In WWII we flattened Berlin and Tokyo.

Why is Raqqa still standing?

Savages, every one. If there are Jews handy, they kill Jews. If Christians, they kill Christians. If Hindus, they kill Hindus. Ditto Buddhists, Shinto, ad infinitum.

And if none of the above are available, they kill each other. So, what do we do, knowing this is how they've always been? We put one of them in the White House. And he's secretly bringing those savages here by the millions.

Excuse me. I'm headed to Walmart to see if they've got any AR platform rifles on sale.

“We’ve been outraged at ISIS’ tactics for a while. I guess the ME didn’t care when babies were being crucified for a couple years?”

As long as it was Christians and Yazidis that were being ethnically cleansed, it was hunky dory to them. As long as it was Israeli innocent citizens being targeted, it was encouraged and financed. Now that the evil and cruelty has been turned against THEM, suddenly there is outrage. I say they shouldn’t have opened the door to that evil because it’s going to swallow them before all is said and done.

The only OUTRAGE that counts is the OUTRAGE coming from the IMAMS. Without that it is a meaningless concept.

I’m waiting.
I’m waiting.
I’m waiting.
I’m starting to lose patience.
I have definitely lost patience.
I’ve concluded that the IMAMS will never become OUTRAGED.
I’m now certain that we are on our own and running out of time.

I’ve said forever that the ME won’t settle down until the Soddies get their throats cut also. They’ve been the source of most of the money that’s financed most of the stupidity in the ME for half a century now. They’ve done it to keep their own dissenters quiet at home. But payback’s gonna be a bee eye itch.

"A real crime," said Fajr, a resident of the Syrian city of Raqqa, the de facto capital of the cross-border territory in Syria and Iraq that the Sunni extremists control.
Fajr's real name and address would be printed if ISIS were in control of a chunk of the US instead of the ME.

Dear Sir!

Would it be appropriate (or not) to start a thread in which we post pictures of ISIS atrocities?

I believe the world needs to wake up and SEE with their own EYES what monsters these muslims are.

For your consideration.

imams approve of murder for islam.

That is so obvious it doesn’t bear pointing out.

islam is a murderous death cult, founded by a child rapist.

Flattening Raqqa would be the first order of business if the United States were run by REAL MEN instead of 20-something year old bimbo voters, emasculated males and other assorted wimps.

Why is Raqqa still standing? Where were the hellfire missiles when hoards of people were watching the Jordanian pilot being burned alive on large video screens erected in that city by ISIS?

Check out this image though.. Interesting:

Don’t forget Dresden.

Since these vermin like fire so much, I say break out the napalm, and let’s have us a good ol ISIS BBQ!

Did somebody say NAPALM!!?

That’s what the Israelis used in 1967 to mop up the Egyptian army in Sinai. And at the `Highway of Death’ outside Basra in 1991. Works every time.

Napalm ISIS goons into crispy critters and revenge for that poor Jordanian? Great idea!

To you and me perhaps.

But for me it is the telltale sign that we are never, ever going to win a propaganda war with Islam. We will never convince the Muslim people to stop supporting the terrorists. They listen to the Imams and the Imams are not going to change their spots.

The Imams are the real enemy. They are the teachers and the leaders. They have to go or we will lose this war. That is a hard pill to swallow for our timid political leaders and anathema to Obama. But it is the truth.
