Lithuania said Friday it would buy 88 German-made armored fighting vehicles in its biggest-ever military purchase amid concerns over neighboring Russia.

Lithuania will need much, much more to deter/stop Russian tanks. IFVs of little use. ATGMs, tanks. But mostly ATGMs. Ask Georgia and Ukraine what happens when one does not have a sufficient number of ATGMs.
Yes, they are NATO members and their defense equipment is pitiful. It is good news they are buying hardware. They need a lot more.
Lithuania is just a speedbump between empires. And tank country. Not a good mix.
