Where’s Max Lucado’s condemnation of Satan’s daughter for failing the decency test? Her indecency goes to down to the bone.
He didn't bash the Bible, and that's not what Max Lucado has claimed. He called Trump out because in one hand Trump holds up the Bible and proclaims to be a christian and then turns around and says ugly things about women, people with disabilities, etc.
Preachers should be evangelizing and attending to their flock. Turning into a political hack is pathetic.

Frankly, I am tired of all the BS Trump junk. I don’t care who puts it out. I also do not want to hear baloney about Cruz, Rubio or the others. Next I will read that Donald Trump was responsible for the death of Steve Irwin because he gave money to a stingray concern.
Now of this stuff is going to change minds that are already made up.
I love Max Lucado’s books but, like the Pope, keep your focus.
Christianity is a more multifarious, complex thing than a lot of popular authors and theologians give it credit for.
Want a real good description of Christianity, a spiritually perceptive explication of the bible? Look for someone who has duked it out to the point of desperation with Old Scratch, and survived to tell the tale.
C. S. Lewis picked up on that theme. There is a broad set of virtues. Courage can look rude and crude sometimes, but it is also marked by self control. There is a sweet spot; it knows how far to go. It will ruthlessly turn tables over but still show mercy to people.

Jeffers is selling a new book he wrote. Trump visited his Church in Dallas and who knows - maybe he put some coins in the plate? Jeffers has been all over radio and TV singing Trump’s praises and selling his book; unusual for a pastor of a church. He goes on BOReilly quite often too.
He has a few rough edges but he is resonating with how a lot of people feel - they want their country back and many hate the politically correct smooth and silent creeping socialism in our country. Here’s guy that stands up to all this “nice” political correctness and tells it straight. I think we need that right now.
Sorry you don’t like him Max, but to each his own. Soft and nice is not what our country needs right now. For many reasons we need a masculine figure who is tough, strong and unafraid. It’s been awhile.
Trump has the same religion as Obama.

I genuinely believe that the IRS persecution of Christians by Obama will look mild compared to what is coming under the Trump administration.
Anyone like Lucado will be destroyed by the Trump IRS. His comments last night about his “audit” were warnings for all of his opponents.

If Trump wins the GOP nomination (may God forbid that curse of man), it would give me extreme pleasure to see him testifying in his fraud case in federal court in San Diego in July or August. He can go from the campaign trail to the courtroom. And I wonder WHAT HIS 179 OTHER LAWSUITS ARE ALL ABOUT.
The Trump supporters on this website will find that character matters when their man — who has left two wives for mistresses and lies about everything — starts acting like the long-time Democrat and progressive he is and has been — and bites THEM in the rear.
