Hamas is rejecting the Arab Peace Initiative and calling on Arab countries to stop promoting it.
Mahmoud Al-Zahar, a member of Hamas' political bureau, on Thursday said the initiative is a threat to vital Palestinian interests.
In an interview with the Al-Arabi Al Jadid newspaper, Zahar called on Arab countries not to promote the Arab Peace Initiative, explaining that it is merely a mechanism that will eliminate the idea of establishing a Palestinian state, due to the fact that negotiations with Israel have proven to be a failure.
The Arab peoples, Zahar continued, should first and foremost be concerned about the Palestinians before they seek peace with Israel.

The peace talks wouldn’t fail if the Arabs wouldn’t demand too much.
Besides killing Jews and rejecting 2,689 Peace offers, deals, summits and the false creation of the Paleostinian Authority, (still basically the PLO), what more so they want?
Hint: Look at all their symbols, patches, flags, maps, posters, pins, decorations and logos. They all show the entire state of Israel as theirs. So where do people get off pushing this “two states, for two peoples” B.S.????
The West and Israel talk about this living side by side stuff yet, the Arabs rejected all proposals from 1917 to today.
What is their interest? Kill all the Jews and supplant the State of Israel with another failed nation state (like the rest of the Arab Muslim world) called Palestine.
What a crock of ______ running now for 100 years.

Oh, I think the peace initiative with Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan will work with Israel.
What the Palestinians NEVER understand is these other countries dont give a #### about them!!
And with Israel the only regional nuclear deterrent to Iran, those countries would rather see the Palestinians go away than Israel fall.
So you understand why peace is not in their interests. They don’t want peace. They want genocide. There is no negotiating with those interests.
Clear enough to me but all the very learned intellectuals at State can’t (or do not want) to get it...
I had to look this over a few times to make sure I correctly read Hamas gave the middle finger to the Arab states.
Nuclear deterrence is only effective if your enemy is as afraid to be annihilated as you. I don’t think the Iranians care very much. If they have to go up in a nuclear firestorm to get rid of the Jews from what I have seen most Iranians would gladly do it.

The so-called Arab peace initiative requires the so-called right of return — that the recently arrived Arabs who bailed in 1948 because the attacking Arab states told them to get out of the way while the Jews were annihilated can move back.
The fact is that they have never wanted to move back unless genocide is carried out, and that more than (probably far more) half of them have died (1948 being 68 years ago). The Arab plan is a humbug.
