i considered Peres a Prelude to the Butchery

in that he wanted to give the land of Israel (especially the high ground overlooking Israeli civilian communities) away to the enemy, which would have led to turning Israel into a slaughter house with the long-threatned Moslem butchering of another 7 million Jooos

I did not want to say anything critical of him now that he;s passed on... but the situation seems to require someone point out just how dangerous Peres was to his country.

Oh, don’t worry. I remember when Ted Kennedy passed on, we all had a great time ridiculing him and making some really tasteless jokes at his expense. I wrote a satirical song about Helen Thomas’ passing to the tune of Poor Jud is Daid from Oklahoma.

Peres used to be a hawkish Labor leader, which is why the Palis hate him, and then he morphed into a dove but was shunted out of power by people with more sense. Then he entered into secret negotiations with the PLO, at which point he became a traitor. Oslo was the final result; the piece accord that is honored by the Palis in the breach, and by the International “Community” in its one-sided application to Israel.

His final incarnation was as a distinguished but doddering imbecile who actually believed that Oslo and real peace had some mystical correlation despite all the contrary evidence, and went around preaching his gospel as he undermined the government that he himself set up in his capacity as President, and accepted an ever growing pile of meaningless awards. If I were the band leader at his funeral, I’d play “I’ll Be Glad When You’re Dead You Rascal You” on the harmonica, accompanied by a kazoo and a triangle.

But at least the Arabs remember the better Peres, who, while not ever committing an act of genocide against anyone, let alone aggression towards Egypt, at least helped win a couple of wars that kept the Jewish State from becoming the victim of genocide. If he had stopped right there and choked to death on some treife food at a state dinner, I would also revere him now. But he didn’t, and we are stuck with a mixed memory of him.

Funny, a world leader, a Nobel prize laureate, an architect for the insertion of the PLO Trojan Horse into Israel, (as some suggest) a CIA operative spying on Israel since 1959, a Peace Dove, a man who believed in coexistence with some of Israel's worst enemies, a man who extended his hand in friendship, a man who appeased the Arabs and Jew murderers, a man who preached reconciliation, a man well respected around the world a modern Ghandi as it were has passed away. All those efforts, all those attempts to “understand” Arab grievances, all those efforts to reach peace and what does his intended target audience do to him after he dies?

THEY URINATE ON HIS GRAVE

Question: What does this all mean regarding Arab intentions to reach peace?

Answer: It was all a lie to begin with and all of us knew it, except...Peres. So RIP old diplomat, old Appeaser, old grandfather of a nation, old statesman who has the blood of thousands of Jews on his hands. So long, and thanks for all the fish...

I agree with you 100%, on every single point that you made. The fact that somebody God does not erase what they have done that is wrong. There is a certain period of decency, but that is over now.
