Thanks for the heads-up.
The OIG found indications that a House server is being used for nefarious purposes and elevated the risk that individuals could be reading and/or removing information and could be used to store documents taken from other offices.
The server was that of the House Democratic Caucus---- a sister group of the DNC----that was run at the time by then-Rep. Xavier Becerra.
(NOTE Becerra is now the California AG----at the time Cong Becerra headed the House Democratic Caucus, he saw nothing amiss in this activity, and did not warn members of security breaches nor did he notify Capitol Hill L/E).
==========================================
The single most shocking activity (out of many examples) is that, as a US govt employee, Imran Awan spent months at a time IN PAKISTAN---during which time he worked on Democrats' IT files.
“The aggregation of multiple members data would mean all that data was absconded with, because authorities said that entire server physically disappeared while it was being monitored by police.”
So, did the Awans just lift this little piece of evidence right under the noses of the cops, or did they get a bit of “help” from DWS?
