Actress and activist Rose McGowan was indicted on felony possession of cocaine by a grand jury in Virginia on Monday. She could face up to 10 years behind bars if convicted.

The investigation began in January 2017, after cocaine was found in a wallet she left behind on a plane that arrived at Washington Dulles International Airport. An arrest warrant was issued the following month, charging her with possession of a controlled substance.

Doesn't take too long after McGowan railing against Bill Clinton for her to be indicted on drug charges does it?

It will never stick. Can’t show the wallet wasn’t tampered with.

The TSA asks questions concerning luggage as in... Have you been with your luggage the entire time? Has anybody else watched your luggage for you while you weren’t attending to it?

So why wouldn’t loss of control or loss of custody pertain to a wallet that was left behind?

There is no proof and no way to show that the wallet was not tampered with.

I think she was the first accuser of Harvey Weinstein.

That’s really her claim to fame these days, her railing against Harvey and other slobs who have used their position of power to abused women. Don’t know anything about this case but if the only evidence they have is a wallet of hers found after the fact with cocaine... seems a long shot to get a conviction.

I don't know about that. If her fingerprints are on the baggie the coke was in then she's probably toast.

Is this story consistent with any coke user you ever heard of? She lost track of her stash? Really?

That’s a strong case, broken chain of possession. She might not have left it there. It could have been pickpocketed and the drug inserted and then put back to get found.

Haven’t heard hides or tails about how much quantity is involved but or which agency referred the charges. Wonder if she had just over the serious crime quantity? 1oz? and eight ball? I’m pretty sure you can’t fit kilos in a wallet.

Then again, who found the wallet? Some stranger who brought it to the police or one of the air crew. If I found it while on duty in an aircrew I would just contact her if possible, or in my younger days I would have just kept the cocaine and dropped the wallet in the post box.

If I found that wallet my first instinct would be to take the coke and then turn it in.

then I realize I am a grown adult who has no use for coke, and my behavior is an automatic one left over from when I was a youngster.

From a prepper standpoint, supposedly coke has medicinal properties useful after the apocalypse. I think it contracts tiny blood vessels to reduce bleeding when you’re trying to stitch up a wound.

Sure officer, that’s what it’s for, yeah.
