‘World Wire’: IBM Launches Stellar-Based Blockchain Payments Platform (Global banking)

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/world-wire-ibm-launches-stellar-224015555.html

September 5, 2018 David Hundeyin

Computing giant IBM has launched a blockchain-based financial solution that it says has the potential to completely upend the existing status quo in global payments and remittances.

The new solution called ‘IBM Blockchain World Wire‘ combines the Stellar blockchain with digital assets to make instant money transfers possible of a guaranteed value possible.

In July, CCN reported that IBM backed a dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by Stronghold on the Stellar network.

In the same month, IBM announced that it was involved in an environmentally friendly crypto project also built on Stellar.

The new Stellar-based platform describes itself as a “financial rail that can simultaneously clear and settle cross-border payments in near real-time.”

According to IBM, World Wire integrates readily with any existing payment system and it supports payments of any size, to any destination, in any asset type within a high-security environment.

Describing World Wire’s potential utility, information from IBM says in part: “With IBM Blockchain World Wire, clearing and settlement with finality happens in near real-time.

The solution uses digital assets to settle transactions — serving as an agreed-upon store of value exchanged between parties — as well as integrating payment instruction messages.

It all means funds can now be transferred at a fraction of the cost and time of traditional correspondent banking.”

How it Works Under the World Wire framework, the transacting financial institutions can use a digital asset of their choice, be it central bank digital currency, crypto or stablecoin as a bridge between two fiat currencies.

The digital asset facilitates the trade and supplies important settlement instructions for the transaction to be confirmed.

AND TAX COLLECTION
Expect this to be huge if governments jump on board. The first to implement a world-wide tax collection scheme is going to make A LOT OF MONEY. They won't collect taxes at the start. But once they become "the standard" they turn taxes on and have a monopoly that forces every producer and consumer to pay. And somebody like the UN will be able to tell them how much to charge and to who on a real-time basis. There will probably be a few (3 is the standard for monopolies to not look like monopolies - like AMEX, Visa, Mastercard with other minor players). But no other company can take the top 3 spots and no consumer or producer can avoid dealing with those 3. And those 3 make A LOT OF MONEY, especially with world-wide government support.

Drug dealer deal in cash as well which is why we no longer print bills larger than $100.00.

Cashless society is coming and there is nothing we can do to stop it.

For those that believe in the Mark of The Beast we already have identity in thumb print and now facial recognition is here. Hand/Forehead already here.

Central Bankers are the cause of 90%+ of problems in the world. They fund CIA type groups, basically murder for hire and they fund ‘chosen’ money managers to do their bidding who in turn hire planners to control markets and economies.

All the near instant billionaires got wealthy from Wall St. paper financed ultimately from accounts opened for central banking deposits. These are hedge funds, capital funds, securities traders, investment bankers. Among these is a pecking order and the ‘chosen ones’ are partnered to carry out financial controls. All of the financial power stems from funny money in the form of digital creation transferred to staged accounts worldwide.

Central Banks are centralized business platforms.

Decentralized banking platforms threaten the end of central banking and are expected to cause a war as a result unless central bankers can figure out how to get their cut and to keep the competition knee capped.

Central banks fund governments by creating money and IOUs from nothing.

But dark money is much larger than amounts allocated for funding governments.

Every time a politician or high profile person pushes to audit or bypass central banking, bodies disappear, politicians suddenly retire, presidents get assassinated. There is a deep correlation in these events with central bankers.

IBM is part of the central banking club. Their blockchain rollout is likely part of a plan to gain market control of decentralized banking platforms.

But blockchain can still be homegrown easily. The struggle for market dominance will likely rest on marketing, promotion and keeping people in the dark.

No human being has even the slightest clue about what blockchain is.

Lots of people are going to get rich off of people who think they understand this nonsense.

Ask any one of these blockchain advocates to explain it in two simple sentences - or even one simple paragraph.

They can’t.

No thanks.

Welcome to the cashless society, where every transaction is known, and where no transaction can happen without this borg.

IBM. It should die already.

Drug dealers hardly deal in cash anymore. Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay Pal. Cash is almost dead.

I’m by no means an advocate, it’s good for some stuff but not for a lot of the things people want to solve with it (like voting). Over all block chain is actually very simple. It’s nothing more than centralized traceable processing of data where every time something (real something or digital) moves that movement is recorded in three places (source, destination, central data) with hashing to keep all the IDs straight and the chains linked.

One sentence. It’s really not that tough. Where it starts getting complicated is individual implementations, the core tech is insanely simple, honestly something we could have done in the earliest days of the internet.
