I know that everyone has a favorite candidate or incumbent and there are many many races that need money.
I'd like to put in a good word for Erik Mortensen. He's the GOP candidate in House District 55A, a southwest suburb of Minneapolis. Back in August, Erik defeated a two-term GOP incumbent who spent just a little too much time voting with the Dems. He won the primary with 57% of the vote.
House District 55A is GOP-leaning but the Democrats have tossed a lot of money into this race thinking that suburban voters will buy into their crap. Their candidate is the former mayor of Shakopee whose time in office has been generally described as autocratic and divisive.
In short, this race could decide whether the GOP continues to control the Minnesota House in the next legislative session.
Erik is a first class candidate with great conservative credentials. He has worked extremely hard as well. Here's his website:
