Small acts in your daily life that can have a big impact on the planet(BARF!)

It's pretty terrifying to realise that we are "the first generation that knows we are destroying the world, and could be the last that can do anything about it," as the WWF puts it.

However daunting it is, when it comes to thinking about climate change as a whole, being overwhelmed and shutting down makes zero sense, because individual acts can make a huge difference.

Sorry, don't have the goebbels pic. But if you need a little guilt to start your week.............. Notice in the cartoon at the beginning it looks like the person is mad at the erf. And who are probably the worst when it comes to litter? Those that provide an area requiring a YUGE clean up after one of their gatherings to protest something, usually the lefties. And, as Sager and Evans once sang about man being gone from the erf----------the erf won't give two craps that we were ever here.

Every progressive you eliminate will increase world intelligence, reduce world idiocy, return actual education to the classrooms, but out of business over 50% of useless and quite idiotic studies departments, reduce carbon emissions, and best of all, totally wipe out H-wood and other bastions of no-IQ dorks.

Special awards for the heads of Soros and Ayers.

When you look back at photos of World War II we are shocked by the near worldwide devastation. Thousands of ships were burned and sunk along with whole cities burned to the ground. Photos from a year later showed clear skies and clean shorelines. Nothing we do today compares.

I read that just 16 commercial tanker ships produce more pollution in a year than all the cars in the US. Also Mt. St. Helens produced more CO2 than people since the beginning of the industrial revolution.

A year later, no evidence it ever happened.

They belong in an insane asylum, not out in public, especially in govt or media. Liberalism is a chronic, no-cure mental disease.

Stop breathing. No need to feel guilty about climate change if you’re dead.

:: we are “the first generation that knows we are destroying the world, and could be the last that can do anything about it” ::

We have the knowledge but all the money is tied up by those ignorant Gen-x-ers who won’t listen to us. We are so much smarter but no-one wants to hear our whining!

Now, don’t you feel bad? Or something? ;-) Seems they ignore the YUGE ‘see Uh Oh 2’ levels that occurred long before we could have had any part in. They don’t want to know that part. Besides, more ‘see Uh Oh 2’= more ‘Oh 2’. As long as plants keep doing their part anyway. If they go on strike, we could have a problem

And we’re told we’ll save the world when we remove ourselves from the equation. Got it.

In lieu of killing yourself, pay higher taxes. Its the new version of the medieval indulgence. You’ll feel better with a lighter wallet.

We could pass laws to make the Democrat Party illegal. that would be a start. after slavery and Jim Crow, they have no right to exist.

If THEY really cared, they would do the right thing. But, as usual, they want someone else to do the heavy lifting.

Nothing wrong with conservation. We have made and disposed of so much crap in the last 75 years and a lot of it will essentially not go away.

I pick up at least a sack of trash every week in front of the farm. People are too lazy to find a trash can? Civic pride around here? Forget about it. Bunch of damned okies.

Exactly. Constantly see crap on the roadways and even in the middle of the desert. Some folks have to go out of their way to dump some of this stuff where they dump it.

The only small acts I engage in are to avoid reading about or talking to or listening to idiots about their imminent, earth-destroying climate change BS.

That, by itself, has a big impact on the peace and serenity in my life.

Eliminate the Left and your life will blossom.

I do my part. I burn all my plastics in an attempt to keep the hole in the ozone layer open, thus allowing the build up of green house gases to escape, along with the globull warming. /sarc

individual acts can make a huge difference.

just as long as it is voluntary and rational, and no personal self-sacrifice, no manipulative collectivistic guilt trips, or force involved

Suggested Actions

1. Pick up litter. We used to call this not being a pig.

2. Switch to renewable energy supplier for home: AKA Buying indulgences. Does not effect energy inputs to the supply grid. Your energy comes from where it always came from. It just costs you money for nothing.

3. Veggie for a Day: Useless virtue signalling. Who doesn’t already order pizza one day a week?

4. Reusable Packaging: Or you could just skip Starbucks altogether. Your choice, but an extra $2000 a year might come in handy.

5. Paperless: Get with the 90s. Who didn’t do this a decade ago?

6. Save water: If you live in a drought area, you are already doing this. If you don’t live in a drought area, your water savings is not going to effect their drought.

“It takes a whopping amount of energy to distill and clean water”

The author does not seem to understand that water treatment plants do not distill the water.
