Rep. Matt Gaetz says Hunter Biden would be 'top witness' in impeachment inquiry
Fox News ^ | 11/27/19 | Victor Garcia

Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., appeared on "The Story" Wednesday, making the case for the minority party to present witnesses as House Democrats continue to push toward impeaching President Trump.

"If we can prove that the president's questions about Hunter Biden, about Burisma were legitimate, that they were well-founded in what our diplomatic corps and what other professionals believe, that it can't possibly be this, you know, this shakedown that Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi are spewing to the American people," Gaetz told guest host Ed Henry. "And so that's why getting that exculpatory evidence into the record is so important."

**SNIP**

Gaetz said that former Vice President Joe Biden's son would be a "top witness" and that Burisma would be a focus for Republicans if they are permitted to call witnesses.

"Hunter Biden would be probably one of our top witnesses. I think the whistleblower would be a witness," Gaetz said. "And I think that others who can expound on the testimony of George Kent that reflect on the concerns with Burisma and the ingrained corruption with that company."

I agree with the belief that if the evidence points to Ukrainian or Burisma or Biden corruption, the the POTUS had a responsibility to ask for help investigating it. The Obama administration, FBI, state department, and CIA-used this argument to spy on Trumps political campaign because of “Russian” interference. They broke laws to get FISA warrants, and never produced evidence to back up their illegal activities. Trump has the high ground, as the Democrats have repeatedly said that “no one is above the law”. I agree, no one is above, but no one should be under either. It was good enough to do to Trump, it’s good enough to investigate for criminal activity with these entities. God help the democrats if turning over rocks with Ukraine suggests ‘stealing from taxpayers to support rich political kids’

I grow weary of a double standard that conservatives are dirty and must be investigated, while liberals are ‘innocent’ and couldn’t have been doing illegal treasonous acts mentality. Let’s get to the truth.

I’m pretty sure Senate Republicans won’t allow either Biden to testify

Some of them likely have ties to Ukraine too. Along with their own family members who feed at the trough because of their parents position

I also don’t expect Lil’ Schitt to show up either, except as a House Manager

Ah, the usual Freeper Debbie Downer.

This is actually about Gaetz trying to get the GOP to be able to call witnesses, which is something the Dems certainly don’t want. Especially since they all know how dirty the Bidens are and how this would result in exposure. Mark Gaetz is very good, from Florida where I live.

Trump had a legal obligation to investigate Biden corruption under the “Treaty with Ukraine on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters”, Treaty Document 106-16, approved in 1999 by President Clinton

https://www.congress.gov/treaty-document/106th-congress/16/document-text

Trump was following the law in the Ukraine phone call, not violating it.

I like Gaetz too.

But don’t get your hopes up about seeing either Biden there

I’m also pretty sure his dad will be pulling all his political favors in to convince the House Dems to drop impeachment.

That’s how the swamp works.

Surely, mentioning someone might be called as a witness is some form of witness intimidation! How dare he!

It’s about time there was at least a little pushback from the republicans. He’s putting them on notice that their schemes can be exposed if they keep pushing this impeachment farce.

Anyone that thinks the Bidens little deal is anything other than an old school mafia style kickback scheme has got rocks in their head. It’s no different than a New York City councilman steering a road construction project to a firm in return for his son being put on the payroll as a “consultant”. We know about this one now, doubtless there are dozens or hundreds of others doing the same thing all through Congress, and I’m sure it’s not just democrats.

If they do drug either one, or just catch Joe under normal drug intoxication, everyone will get a lesson in softballs and a memory of hard balls as the conservatives will be chained down with cloth in their mouths and will not a get a question in. So, enjoy your nap when he hits the stand.

I want to see Hunter and “Gramps” testify about about the pregnant stripper (now a baby mama) and the dildo.

Ratings would go through the roof. Americans love a sex scandal.

And this one has something for everyone.

Aint that the truth. A Jerry Springer special episode. Get the whole gang on stage....fade to commercial with “we’ll be right back with the latest DNA results after this message from our sponsors...” (snap to view of Hunters face).

Gordy Sondland, Harvey Weinstein. Jeffrey Epstein, Billy Clinton, Hunter Biden, etc., etc.

Our bourgeois, not content with having the wives and daughters of their proletarians at their disposal, not to speak of common prostitutes, take the greatest pleasure in seducing each other’s wives. - Communist Manifesto pg 32

Even Karl Marx didn’t like these azzhats. He actually referred to this scumbag class as “socialist bourgeois”
