Chancellor Richard Carranza needs to listen to parents and restore order in NYC schools
New York Post ^ | January 17, 2020

Chancellor Richard Carranza on Thursday night fled rather than face parents’ fury over growing discipline and safety problems at city schools.

At a packed Community Education Council meeting in Queens, Carranza took direct fire from two parents whose kids were victims of separate physical and sexual assaults at MS 158/Marie Curie in Bayside.

Once a highly regarded school, MS 158 has seen a string of ugly incidents in recent months, including a vicious caught-on-video lunchroom fight last week and a classroom sexual assault last month.

Video of the fight shows a relentless assault by one female student on a classmate who plainly doesn’t want to fight — with the aggressor repeatedly escaping adults’ lame efforts to restrain her.

At the CEC meeting, that victim’s mother told Carranza and school officials that the violent assault left her daughter too afraid to return to school. Yet the attacker goes unpunished and continues to attend class. The distraught mom yelled at Carranza: “We’re not getting answers! Nobody is giving answers!” But the chancellor gave none, either.

The sexual-assault case saw a 13-year-old boy arrested and charged with misdemeanor forcible touching. Carranza also ignored questions from that victim’s father.

At the meeting, a teacher cited the new discipline code for lowering morale and leaving teachers unable “to effectively manage classrooms,” adding that staff are “no longer respected and supported.”

Even the head of the usually dead-quiet principals’ union, Mark Cannizzaro, recently sounded the alarm, writing Carranza: “In many schools, misconduct is on the rise, leading some students to believe there are little or no consequences for disruptive, openly defiant and even violent behavior.” Principals and staff feel “unsupported” by system higher-ups, he complained.

They protect the criminal element, the school board is either on board and those who are not are threatened. Your children and the teachers are held hostage by protected animals who will never be diciplined

Yes, that’s what we have devolved to. There are no consequences to misbehaving or even illegal assualt. And these feral hooligans know it.

As I recall, the dirt ball who shot up one of the Florida schools a number of years back had a history serious behavior problems in his school, but escaped any meaningful punishment due to an Obama Ed Department policy of minimizing correctional activity to keep from stigmatizing minorities. This business smells of more of the same.

Like all bureaucracies, NY Schools have become corrupt, deaf and inefficient

It needs to be blown up. Divide it into multiple districts, or even put the parents in charge of each school.

Discipline is racist.
Academic standards are racist.
Education is “acting white,” and therefore, racist.

This is what’s going to happen to the leftists and their policies

Democrat parents are going to see the effects on their children of their stupid ass policies

There is only one party that promotes corruption degeneracy disorder hatred and All kinds of other nonsense

There is only one party that passes laws that dictates that you cannot discipline children in the school

Now how long will it take for corrupt hellholes like New York and California in Chicago to wake up?

Out here in California we have the disaster of the homeless drug addicts taking over major cities all over the place( Of course not here in lovely Marin County where I live) People are getting fed up.

Fortunately Democrats , as a political party Are incredibly stupid

Witness the MORONS they elect

What we have to count on is turning Democrats away from their master- it is a slavery - slave master type situation.

Most Democrats are simply indentured servant’s that are afraid of their master

Black Democrats are particularly this way

But you know what? This ain’t 2016 anymore !!

Our great and wonderful president Donald J Trump now has a whole list of accomplishments to show for his relentless and tireless effort !!

and his and his family’s and friends willingness to take arrows for the rest of us Has all of us incredibly grateful and thankful and willing to stand up and honor what this guy has done for this country and fight so hard in this year that

complete obliteration of the Democratic Party is the only goal!!!!

Carranza also ignored questions from that victim’s father.

I honestly wonder if I could resist grabbing this Carranza by each side if his face and dragging him outside for a beating. God bless this father for his forbearance.

“I honestly wonder if I could resist grabbing this Carranza by each side if his face and dragging him outside for a beating. God bless this father for his forbearance.”

A better punishment would be to require him to teach class for a week without his personal security in one of his regular high schools loaded with defiant ferals.

At the same time, we shouldn’t be feeling too sorry for the teachers and principals, most of them having voted for the DemonShits that caused these problems.

The best way to lower the crime rate among minorities is just don’t charge them with crimes, regardless of what they do.
