I don’t want anyone to kowtow to my whims.

Calm and dignity need to be learned—sometimes the hard way.

It sounds like you have that to look forward to...

I’ve also seen people walking alone outside with masks on.

Come on, folks.

Use some sense.

The other SMH scenario is the people who have the masks covering their mouths and leaving their noses exposed.

They look like idiots.

‘He pretty much had to say he disagreed, because if he didn’t then he would be going against his official “protocol”.’

oh, really? what’s more important to us, having the country get rid of these insane lockdowns, or stroking Trump’s ego by sticking to his ‘guidelines’ (they are not protocols, in the true sense of the word)...?

Just calm down.

Take a chill pill.

Walk outside and smell the flowers.

Seriously.

‘I think ‘normals’ should start flicking boogers on the ‘maskers’.’

uh, okay...

‘but most of our citizens are acting like adults, playing the cards we have been dealt with quiet strength and dignity.’

plenty of these ‘adults’ have no compunctions about heaping abuse on those like myself who are not ‘getting with the program’, or worse, ratting them out to the authorities...let’s see what happens with these adults when the governor announces another month of shut down...

We hardly see any masks, here.

The few we do see are being worn by seniors shopping for groceries or meds.

We’re doing mostly delivery or curbside (I noticed it spelled kerbside, in OP, have never seen it spelled that way), so we’re not inside stores to see if employees are wearing them).

At the parks, we haven’t seen ANY worn, by anyone. We have noticed most are social distancing.

Until the irrational fear of the flu subsides — and a lot of fear is still around including, quite sadly, among a lot of adult “men” — the wearing of those ill-fitting, highly ineffective masks in public (yeah, I know of the special circumstances where masks are necessary ... and those circumstances are not new and they’re limited) serves the Democrat/Left’s purpose of maintaining an elevated level of terror among Americans.

Credit ratings destroyed....

I’ve noticed something strange about credit ratings lately. I have good credit, but for some reason, I’ve seen them shave some points off lately. My spending hasn’t changed and I haven’t taken on more debt. It’s still good, but it’s strange.

Gov. Kemp of Georgia started to open back up, and this is what the President said about him, publicly:

I predict that soon normal people will start spitting on the idiots who continue to wear masks in public. That's coming down the pike.

Mask = Democrat/idiot. No mask = Republican/sane.

Why would someone do that? People make their own decisions if to wear a mask in public. As long as they are not bothering anyone else, why would someone spit on them?

And "normal" people do wear masks. Some oncologists recommend it depending on the type of cancer treatment and how their immune system is being affected. A mask is not perfect - it's about reducing risk. When you're going through chemo, every little bit helps.

I wondered about that, too, and of course, had to look it up:

“In American and Canadian English, the noun meaning the edge of a sidewalk or roadway is spelled curb. In varieties of English from outside North America, the word is spelled kerb. But everyone uses curb for the verb meaning to check or restrain and for the verb’s corresponding noun (e.g., curbs on spending).

Getting rid of the insane lockdowns, of course. That’s why I suspect he is in full support of Georgia and can’t wait for them to succeed. Then he can happily encourage most other states to follow suit, if they so choose.

Allowed? To exercise our civil rights?

Go to church? Not even during the bubonic plague were churches closed.

Open tattoo parlors? How is that essential?

Our rulers are beyond insane. 1984, better late than never, eh?

Watch how quickly the media shifts the narrative from: “We’re all gonna die!” to “Trump is responsible for all that you went through.”

It is, after all, election campaign time!

Those people have a right to make a living! The death rate does not justify taking away their rights!

I didn’t say they don’t have a right, never even addressed it. I’m just saying that “saying these people didn’t die because of COVID-19 is asinine and embarrassing to those who believe such a thing”.
