The autopsy report for Ahmaud Arbery, the 25-year-old who was fatally shot in a Georgia neighborhood, showed that he was shot three times, twice in the chest and once in the hand. The report also concluded Arbery did not have drugs or alcohol in his system, according to a copy of the report obtained by CBS News.

Gregory McMichael, 64, and his son Travis, 34, were charged with Arbery's murder 74 days after they chased, shot and killed him on February 23. The McMichaels told police they thought Arbery was a burglary suspect.

Arbery's family said he was out for a routine jog that day.

So Arbery was a sober thief which is somehow worse.

Routine jog 10-15 miles from mama’s house. That is some serious training.

Jogging in below-the-knee jeans and high tops.....new trend I guess in inefficient/uncomfortable jogging.

At this point, what difference does it make. These tow redneck, KKK, Trump supporters have been convicted in the court of public opinion. No need for a trial.

His routine is to go to a construction site at night several times the next town over. It is good to have a routine I guess.

“The report also concluded Arbery did not have drugs or alcohol in his system, according to a copy of the report obtained by CBS News.”

I wonder if the other parties to this incident were tested for drugs and alcohol?

Two things can be true at the same time:

He was no jogger.

His murderers should never see the light of day again.

[Jogging in below-the-knee jeans]

Yeah, that doesn’t make sense at all. What little I saw they seem to go to the knees.

Never attempt to take a man’s firearm away from him... It becomes self-defence and all other arguments become moot.

I’m glad this was not twice in the chest and once in the head. That could sound like something more than shooting to stop the threat.

Never confront another man with a firearm unless you are prepared to use it. Goes both ways.

[His routine is to go to a construction site at night several times the next town over.]

This thread reminded me of something many years back. Worked for a medical company in the...urban areas.

Anyway, nearby there was a market of sorts, with a small restaurant operation out front.

One day they were shut down. Permanently.

Turns out they had been fencing stolen power tools - power tools stolen from construction sites.

I don’t know if that’s what had been occurring with this story - just that this thread reminded me of that.

I had never thought of people doing that. But I suppose they’ll steal anything.

He wasn’t murdered. In Texas we say “Death by mis-adventure.”

There is no evidence he was stealing anything. In fact, the owner of the construction site said he stole nothing

“Routine jog 10-15 miles from mama’s house.”

What is you source for the distance from his house. I have seen reports from two miles to more than 50 miles?
