Democrats slammed President Trump for inciting violence against protesters demonstrating in Minneapolis over the death of George Floyd.
Joe Biden tweeted, "He is calling for violence against American citizens during a moment of pain for so many. I'm furious, and you should be too."
Biden was referring to Trump's tweet when he said, "These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won't let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!"
Twitter said Trump’s tweet violated company policy because it glorified violence in the last line.
Hillary Clinton tweeted that Trump is "calling for violence against American citizens. If you haven't already joined the work to replace him in November, start now."
The phrase “when the looting starts, the shooting starts” was used by Miami's police chief, Walter Headley, in 1967, when he addressed his department's crackdown on "slum hoodlums" who he claimed were taking advantage of the civil rights movement.
Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi, D-Ill., tweeted, "I don't doubt he knows exactly what he's doing just as he did after Charlottesville and when he took out his newspaper ads calling for the death penalty for the Central Park Five."
Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., said it’s a scary time with "a president calling for the murder of political opponents and protesters."
Kamala Harris tweeted, "Trump's tweets yet again show what racism looks like. This is why we need new leadership. Vote."
Rep. Rashida Tlaib tweeted, "The Impeached President is a violent white supremacist."
"This is what a racist president looks like," Rep. Don Beyer, D-Va.said.

So, the NBC president says the rioting cannot be called that, but must be called a “protest”, and the Democrats are saying that the President is insensitive when others are destroying a good chunk of the city and he says he will use force if necessary to stop the violence. So, the Democrats favor unrestricted violence and destruction of private property. Okay, how about a bunch of rioters show up in their neighborhood and start torching houses. Let’s see how forgiving those hypocrites are then.
I thought he was referring to the shooting that already started by the rioters. There were shots fired in Minneapolis, Kentucky and St. Paul.

I dont have a problem with looters getting shot if they refuse to cooperate.
You dont get to go crazy and loot stores with immunity.
Here is the pyramid of blame/responsibility in Minneapolis!
1. The officers that did the beating. They actually did it.
2. The police department head. They are responsible for the environment that lead to the officers believing this was acceptable behavior. Isn’t the Chief of Police a black man?
3. The Mayor. He selected the Chief of Police..
4. The voters of Minneapolis. They elected the mayor.
This isn’t even a state issue, much less a fedgov issue. It is a Minneapolis issue.

The mayor, governor, and police chief are all democrats and this happened on their watch, yet it’s President Trump’s fault.
It surprises me that it took them this long to accuse him. It usually does not that them but two seconds, three seconds at the most to blame him.
