The author was right about one thing. Democrats are in no hurry to defend George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. Will a lot of swing voters think negatively of democrats? This is just one piece of the puzzle that paints democrats as the party that destroys statues and potentially Mount Rushmore.
