Never said do nothing. Showing up at your representatives local office is far more effective.

Make a call and they’ll give you the standard canned answer BS and thank you for your concern.

Write a letter or email and you get a canned response that probably has nothing to do with what you asked about.

There’s a few reps that are actually honest. Those are the ones you should be talking with. Calling anyone that is against what you stand for is useless.

OIC - sorry.

Oh! WAIT! I can't get on Capitol Hill today without the right ID.

Oh! Wait! I'll fly to Anchorage!

Oh! Wait!

I agree with your advice. You have to begin at the local level. Find the most likely people in your community who will be honest and effective at the state level. We did that in my state by forming a “Taxed Enough Already” group and dug into directing the local and state issues. We worked to get the best of our group. So we worked to get our TEA group to run for Legislature and he won. He would make a great congressman, but not sure he would give up his business. He might possibly run against Joe for senate on the next go around. Conservatives just have to break loss and get pro-active for real. It’s going to take more time to get rid of the swamps, and it’s not going to ever be completed in one election. With the Trump leadership we can make some big dents in both parties. Then be able to hold on to them as we add more. WE’re going to restart our TEA group. I’ll bet we will have more members this time around.
