Republican Michigan Rep. Peter Meijer said that his vote to support the articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump “may very well have” ended his political career.
In a Sunday appearance on ABC’s “This Week,” Meijer was asked by host George Stephanopoulos if he thought he committed “political suicide” with his vote because Trump still “has such a strong hold on the Republican party.”
Now he looks for sympathy for his courage, etc. etc. etc.
Give him a cookie.
Make it actual suicide moron.
I am sure the Quisling can find a cushy K Street or University or Mass Media job.
Cry me a river!
May?!
He was likely just trying to save the family bidness [Meijer’s Shifty Acres].
Kamelama may I?
Here’s your cup of hemlock, traitor!
Jerk needs to switch to the Rat party.
He is nothing more than a yellow bellied turncoat. He has exposed himself to his constituents for what he is and stands for. What a role model for his children if he has any,
Bolsheviks, Mensheviks and Quislings ... oh, my!
Trump is taking names, and so are the republican voters.
Republicans need to take lessons from democrats. Democrats would NEVER have voted to impeach one of their own, just like happened with the attempted impeachment of Bill Clinton. And democrats don’t vote against any major bills where the issue is one of their most important goals, like happened with Obamacare.
Bottom line: bye, you republican traitors.
The GOP committed suicide by not supporting trump.
I know NO ONE that will vote for them.
Pubbies keep thinking if they act like Chamberlain the Dems will like them...
The Dems/DS WILL USE THEM, and then throw them to the wolves. Derps never learn
WWG1WGA!
This silver-spoon twit was supported by Ric Grenell and maybe one of the Trumps, can’t recall for sure.
He sure spit in their eye fast.
The whole party has committed suicide, he’s not alone.
Going on This Week to open your mind and soul to Stephanopolous doesn’t help him, either. But maybe he’ll get access to some help from Dominion for doing the bidding of Party D during the remainder of his term.
That political career should have ended sooner. Why pile on to kick President Trump on his way out the door? It serves no purpose but to divide people on the right.
Our president gave four years to us fighting every single day to improve our lives and make this country great again, and the best thanks people like this can come up with is to stab him in the back on the way out? Just sad.
Hmmm, that right, Kemosabe.
